First use of speed alert option with Here maps app

I must have read somewhere (perhaps here) that the Here app has a speed alert option. I tried it with a setting of +6 where the speed limit is up to 50mph and a setting of +8 where the speed limit is above 50mph.

What am I looking at?

After reading about the Russian plane that crashed in Egypt while on its way to St. Petersburg, Russia, I used Google Earth to look at the St. Petersburg airport. What am I seeing?

Keeping The Windmill Alive - Your Last Trip? – November 2015

In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

how important is it to you where products are made??

It's not that important to me where they're made, provided they are made well.

However, there seems to be one exception--oil filters. Reason being they are important devices. My preference would be Germany, Japan, USA, in that order. The problem is many of them retain their German, Japanese, or American brand names, packaging, etc., and are produced now in other countries.

Windows 10, new Microsoft Maps

Microsoft, the developer of Mappoint (a good application) has produced Maps, a lousy application. There appears to be no way to import, create, edit, or delete custom POI's for this "application" and I use the word "application" lightly. You can import maps and use the application off line but without POI's (other than the limited ones by MS) it is a rather trivial application.

The future is here.

New police officer held photo enforcement dragon cam.

Since the cop cam move, a poi file will be tough for these.

Why is it that CVS Pharmacy is not available???

Let me re-phrase that... Why is it that the CVS file that exists contains just a few locations? (I was looking at the csv file, not gpx)

????

Would love to swap out Wallgreens which is convienet, but we don't regularly use..... for CVS (which we use often)
