Voice Command

I have a question. I have a 2430 that I like very much. However, ever so often the Voice Command screen pops up with the kind lady telling me to "Say a Command". I do not call up this screen since I do not use it at all. I dismiss it with the command "Exit". It comes up maybe once a month although last week it appeared twice in one day. It is really not a problem, just a curiosity.

As per:

Street Altas USA will not be updated for 2016. Street Atlas 2015 will be the final version offered and will be discontinued when current inventory is depleted.

Keeping The Windmill Alive - Your Last Trip? – November 2016

In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

Mass Turnpike Goes Ezpass Only as of 10/28

Travelers of the Massachusetts Turnpike should be aware the toll road has gone Ezpass only as of 10/28/16

http://www.wcvb.com/news/state-to-offer-details-on-new-elect...

drove through EZPass with two tags

Was curious what would subsequently happen.

Conspiracy theory says, user error, pay twice. Not the system's fault.

What ended up happening was the regular charges appeared immediately.

6 days later, the 2nd tag appeared on the statement (online).

POI Factory window / bumper sticker

Fellow member Bobkz had a great idea awhile back about creating a POI Factory bumper sticker & I would like to know if today amongst you all there’s still an interest out there.

This week we’re recognizing, Sirkull!

Sirkull has been with us for over 8 years.
Last week he added 60 new locations to his Dollar Tree file. This is pretty busy file, with locations continuing to pop up all over the US.
We appreciate Sirkull’s dedication to keeping this file up-to-date.

Thanks, Sirkull!

High mileage vehicles

I figured since I'm err...frugal and won't let a car die until I have too, I wanted to see who else here shares the passion of pushing a vehicle far beyond the manufacturer's recommended lifetime.

should we get back to basics?

I feel that when compared to our parents' times when we were kids, society is very impersonal. Sometimes very abrasive and standoffish.

Me, I try to just tolerate bad customer service, as long as I'm not harmed or get what I paid for.

Fitbit Customer Service

I've had this Surge Fitbit since April, looked like corrosion on one corner probably from sweat salts and air bubble on band. Called them up, explained answered a few questions, less then 5 minutes and they are sending a new one out to me. That's amazing Cust. Service, I thought I would have to pay shipping, wait till they veiled it, etc..
