Fitbit Customer Service

I've had this Surge Fitbit since April, looked like corrosion on one corner probably from sweat salts and air bubble on band. Called them up, explained answered a few questions, less then 5 minutes and they are sending a new one out to me. That's amazing Cust. Service, I thought I would have to pay shipping, wait till they veiled it, etc..

It is really cool to be able to walk and see your distance and heartbeat, great motivator.

yep, definitely good customer service

Wife's fitbit band was about to tear through and they replaced the whole unit since the band is not replaceable.

Agree, great motivator.

Fitbit Zip

Had poor battery life on both of our Zips. Fitbit replaced both, and still have old units. No hassle and happy customer.

Battery life still an issue, changing from 2025 battery to 2032 and better life.

I had one where the band was separating from the unit. A friend told me he and his wife had the same problem, and they replaced them, apparently it's a know issue they had.

I goofed off for a while, but eventually I called them - on a Sunday. I explained the problem, the rep looked up my info and said "Honestly, your warranty expired yesterday..." - I did have it for two years at that point. She put me on hold for a few minutes, then came back and said her manager OKed a waiver, and I had a new one four days later.

I didn't even pay for the original - I got it using "wellness points" my company awards for different healthy living activities, and I got it replaced for free, hard to beat that!

Waiting on second Fitbit replacement

My first Fitbit, the Flex, split the band and they replaced the band without question. My second, a Charge HR also has the separation issue and they're in the process of sending me a new unit. Good customer service alright, but maybe poor quality products.
