Has anyone got any experience of the new Drive models and 3rd party red light/speed cameras? There are reports on a UK forum that Garmin has removed that ability from their Drive models and that they only support Garmin speed cameras?

I've purchased a new Drive 60LMT and I am looking for new vehicles and voices like I have on my older Nuvis but I have been unable to find them on the Garmin site. In the past I simply went to the Garmin Garage and found what I needed. I can no longer find the garage. Is it gone or has it moved? Will the Drive 60 accept the same options as the Nuvi?

I've had some disappointing results in my my cell phone tests that I wanted to share and see if you guys had similar results.

Has anyone tried the new Garmin dash cams? The product includes some interesting and innovative new features. Although a separate unit, it seems like an improvement over the Nuvicam.

I have done this a few years ago. I will use POI loader to load rest areas, certain gas stations, red light and speed cameras. Maybe a few others. I'm not sure what I used last time.
What is the general consensus on the proximity alert distances?
What do you use and maybe a reason.

Is anyone else having trouble connecting with the garmin servers. Just got the Garmin DriveDelux 51-lmt-s just a few days ago. Connected fine wireless and wired. Downloaded update to the operating system with wireless and then came inside and updated maps using wired method. Have connected numerous times since then both wireless and wired. Yesterday, no connection at all.

I did the latest map upgrade on SD Card for my 660, and afterward the new map works good, but GE still says I have yet to update map.....
Though I have.....

Seeing that after I download map onto SD Card, I have to re-name the 3 map names, in order to have them work from the SD card.....

Has anybody here found the Garmin maps "Lacking" in certain areas? (This may have been discussed before)

I normally do not leave Toll Roads enabled... and with the device set that way.... (Toll Road NOT used)....

I also drive the same routes often....

The Live Traffic portion of the Smartphone Link seems to consume a large amount of data (0.5Gb for a 2 hour trip). Can I turn of just the Live Traffic and still have the hands free phone work?

Is there a Garmin that will let you answer a phone call without having to tap the screen? Is there a Garmin that will read out a text message?
Is there a Garmin that will do both?

I don't know if it was the map (City Navigator NA NT 2018.1) or the software (4.40) for my Garmin 58 LMT that ruined it?

Hi i updates my gps to 2018 maps. I wanna throw this same map onto my wifes gps but gives me the error saying MAP LOCKED. How would i go about that. My wifes gps is not eligible for a gps lifetime update.

OK..... this will go down as one of the dumbest questions on the forum! Which port do you connect to on the RV760 to connect to computer.....the one on the back, that connects to power, or the one on the bottom next to the SD card slot?

New software version updated to 5.20 for Garmin DriveSmart 50

I attached my 2555LMT and downloaded 2018.1 with Garmin Express.

I want to have on computer to use with Basecamp.

I'm using GarminMapupdater to load on Computer Only, but there must be a better way to do this with GE.

Is there a Garmin device(s) that have POIs already installed?
I see some Garmins using foursquare...are these the ones with it already?

My neighbor has a new car and his built in sat nav system has all icons displaying for all gas stations, restaurants etc. Is Garmin capable of this without loading POIs for every single gas station , restaurant etc?

I am just learning how to use my new Garmin NuviCam and, on looking over the tutorials on how to load POI files into the Garmin, find that it opens with describing the use of a Windows platform. Does this mean that it will not work with the Google Chrome browser? I've been trying to figure out if the POI Loader works with Chrome as that is the browser I usually use.
