Loaded map on GPS. How do I get on computer

I attached my 2555LMT and downloaded 2018.1 with Garmin Express.

I want to have on computer to use with Basecamp.

I'm using GarminMapupdater to load on Computer Only, but there must be a better way to do this with GE.

Would appreciate your help.

Garmin Express

Garmin Express > Map Options > Install to computer. Note that you could have done this as part of the map update to your device by selecting "Device and Computer" on the install options.

Also, you can view the map directly from your device in Base Camp. Just plug in your device, start basecamp, and give it a few minutes to read and index the information on your nuvi.
