shows what appears to be a home with a sign in front offering cookware.

The website looks like a classic shopify site to me. Pop up to good to be true shopify stores were a common scam no to long ago.

Sounds like a scam to me. There has been a resurgence on other sites ever since Amazon cracked down on scams on their platform.
