I have a Garmin Street Pilot 2720 that has City Navigator North America NT v7 on it. Is it worth upgrading to the 2008 version of City Navigator?

I noticed if I was just driving, and viewing the map the intersection Rt 70 and Rt 29N shows as exit 86 on the display. The signs have it labeled as exit 25A/B.

If I was actually navigating to a location that required me to get on that exit, the number display and announce as exits 25A/B.

I recently purchased the Garmin Nuvi 310.
I am fairly new to the Garmin POI process. I have managed to compile my own custom POI with alerts and proximity warnings operating correctly that include the audible tone warning as well.

Ok, I was playing around with the nuvi and I found something that I didn't realize was there.

Ppl have asked if there was a way that you can delete all your favorites at once, and I have been saying no, as well (correct me if I am wrong) as others.

But you can. There is a "Delete All" button that will delete all your favorites and custom POIs at once, then you can just reload the POIs.

Can you listen to music using a memory card in a c330?

I know most of the topics here relate to vehicle nagigation but I was curious. Along with my c330 I have a ETrex Ledgend hand held unit. I recently comunicated with a company that has teamed up with Garmin to put out a golf distance unit. I asked them if they were developing software to download into other Garmin units. They said they were a year away, but yes they were.

When entering a new address I'm asked New York or enter State...
Is there a way for the next step to ask my default city as well?

Is there a way I can edit advanced settings? I'm looking for the regedit.

Ive had my nuvi 250w for a couple of weeks. Today while passing a major road, of which Ive passed many times in the last few weeks. I got a Red Bar on the top of my screen which said "Speed Alert 3mph" And the unit was beeping. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?????

But it is also my wifes Birthday and we are on our way out to dinner. I will report more ASAP

I created a 4-column csv file with addresses and phone numbers with the idea that I would add to my Garmin nuvi 660 favorites as needed for dialing.

It didn't work.

Once saved, the column-4 info (address and phone) isn't saved. I don't get it. ;-o

I have my vehicle set for the default arrow. I know, NO creativity . When navigating, it seems to me that the tip of the arrow, is NOT my location on the map. If I zoom way in, it appears that my location corresponds to a point that lies 2/3 of the way down in the towards the bottom of the arrow. Does this seem right? Does anyone else see this?

Anyone out there use any of the handheld Garmins like the eTrex or any of their other models? I'm thinking of getting one for fishing, hiking, etc. and don't thing my C330 would be much help off the beaten path.

I have a GARMIn & am NEW to the POI thing other then custome Addresses I have loaded... How do I preserve those & easilly add a bunch of new ones???

Any tricks un updating them quickly once installed???

I have uploaded the normal gpi files from the poi downloaded. What is interesting is that the capacity of the files uploaded is 13.7mb but when it gets to the poi file on the garmin is is listed as 1.2kb. I do not understand this?

Has anybody ever purchased a refurbished gps and if so has anybody had a bad experience with the unit?

Anyone noticed that the 350 sound louder than the Nuvi 360. I had them side by side and 350 is much louder than 360. I just wonder if one of my 360 had bad speaker.

Of course, this probably makes sense..but I was still suprised when I noticed I was receiving traffic updates even though I forgot to plug the receiver into the cigarette lighter...

I've recently bought a nuvie 650(upgraded from 350) & love the widescreen!

However, while reading the forums, I've noticed that others have upgraded their 350/6xx's with the latest firmware(like 4.10). My 650 has North american NT 2008 maps(the latest one), but the firmware is only 3.90!!!
