My Nuvi660 arrived last week, from Costco.ca. I paid CAD$689.99 + 14% in taxes. Shipping was free.
I am still facing a steep learning curve, and I would like some help.

Longitude and latitude

Can you view direct coordinates on any garmin?

Does anyone know the internal (not using a SD card) memory capacity of a 370? I have loaded many POI files related to my RV travels and I have no idea how much more space internally is available. Will POI files be overwritten when capacity is reached or just rejected?

How do I set a new location quickly with my Garmin 680? If my antenna is off, I can select "View Map", then click anywhere on the map to get the "Set Location" button. From there I have to scroll across state or country to get to the new location before clicking on the "Set Location" button.

Did anyone else get an e-mail from Garmin to update their Garmin map to 2008 Map update?

Both my father and I bought the C320 last year.

They are sending us a new DVD and did not ask for any money.

I had a question about the Nuvi 360.... I dont own one yet thats why i had to ask... Ok so If you want to re route your current destination, can you keep pressing re route until you fine a route that you like? or can you only press re route once?

I have a new c530 and a new 2008 map noway can I get the download to work .I have regestered gps unlocked the map , this is what I end up with .THIS GARMIN UNIT IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS UPDATE BECAUSE A PREVIUS MAP VERSION IS NOT INSTALLED.OK this is where the fun starts phoned garmin they say no problem your gps serial# is not in our data base we will fix this on our end.

I just saw this Sunday's ad for Best Buy and Circuit City for the 2008 Garmin Map Update ($69.99). But the ad says the update is for those who have had their Garmon for over a year.

I've had mine for 40 weeks.

Does anyone know how or if it is possible to share audio Book files?????

I'm totally new to GPS. I've downloaded and loaded two POI files (wineries and zoos) to my Garmin 660 but I can't find any way to access them on the device. They're not in attractions, etc. Please help!

Having a headscratcher with my Nuvi 360.

Lately I've noticed that my 650 recalculates on my way to work while I'm on the expressway. I decided to set it to the signal strength screen one morning to see what it showed since it happens in the same spot. My signal went from 18' to 300' and then it recalculated. In a couple secs it was back under 20'. I had a co-worker check his Magellan as he came into work.

My Garmin was purchased in a sale and it came from a rental car agency. With this it is always in safe mode and there is no place to turn it off. It also does not have garmin lock on it either. Can anyone help as this is annoying when trying to find a place while moving. Thanks countryboy96@hotmail.com

How can I delete all favorite waypoints ?

I have a new Nuvi 680. When I do a seach for POIs using "search near current route" using Garmins built in POI data base, the found items always fall right along the route as they should, but when I do the same using a custom POI (*.csv) file, the found items seem to have to relation to the current route. Is there a way to modify the custom POI ??

I just noticed today (while listening to mp3s) that my right speaker is much much louder then the left (the left may not even be working, can't really tell). I only noticed it today, so I am wondering if the 5.0 update (which delt with sound) had anything to do with it.

Can you test yours and let me know.

I have been noticing recently that it takes longer to acquire signal on Nuvi 680! Tried reset, does not seem to do much. It had worked in the past. Anyone else having similar problems?

I intalled the cracker barrel poi from this site and using the poi loader in the manual mode set the alarm to sound at 1 mile.Maybe I have got this all wrong but is the alarm suppose to sound when I come in contact with any cracker barrel location within that 1 mile setting?I just traveled down i95/i75 and passed many of the cracker barrels within the set distance and the alarm did not go off.If I

Now that I am waiting with baited breath for my new nuvi 750, I am trying to figure out if I (we) can set up an Excel file for routes. I drive deliver truck to different locations every day and would like to load the addresses into a file on the computer then upload to the nuvi. Any ideas?
