nuvi 350 poi's

I am going to buy a gps system, and right now that garmin nuvi 350 is the one that I will probably buy. I do a lot of camping, and I was wondering if this model had campgrounds listed in the factory set POI's?
Any info would be much appreciated!!

Thanks

Buying a Garmin

My Nuvi 350 did not have campgrounds in it.
There are many files in the POI Factory list that do have campgrounds of all kinds that you can load.

I agree the Nuvi 350 is a good deal. Shop around though as some places are getting very cheap. My neighbor bought a Nuvi 350 for $199.00, brand new.

Also something to consider is the Nuvi 6xx's are getting cheap also.

I am happy with my Nuvi 350. It works fast, does what I need it to do. There's always greener grass... but greener grass is not always better.

Although the nuvi does not have a category for campgrounds, it does have some in the database and can be found by 'spell' searching. But as xnman said, the place to go is POI Factory ... several campground POIs.

yup

Wow look at all the campgrounds (I have been watching way too many episodes of the Simpson's lately and Homers voice keeps popping up in my head) Now why would I want to be watching the Simpson's? Could it be the avatars on this site that have me sucked back in?

I could be wrong, but I

I could be wrong, but I believe that all nuvis have the same POI database (as long as they are on the same map version), so it really doesn't matter which one you pick (out of all the nuvis and streetpilots) as far as POIs are concerned.
