I have a Nuvi 1450 and would like for the map to NOT show the pre-installed icons but only show my POI icons is this possible? I am sure this has been asked but I could not find it

I hadn't updated my gps in a while so today I decided to update to the new map, which I did. then I went to garmin dashboard and it said that I should update the usb drivers, which I did. Now my gps will not turn on. please help me.

just bougth 1350. Befor had Mio, and had a option to avoid any road from itinerary for next few miles or whole road itself. I can not find any thing same in Garmin 1350. So any one know?

Hi, I have a Garmin NUVI 2460 and since I updated my maps I get wrong "arriving at" destination directions. It usually says: "You have arrived at your destination it is on your LEFT" when it really is on the Right. Is there any way to fix this problem? Thanks.

I will be going to Europe in the near future and plan to bring my nuvi 3590 with me. When I checked with Garmin they told me that I could not use my AC charger (Garmin) and had to buy their international kit. I already have multiple plug adapters.

The charger I have has an input of100-240V, 0.3A, 50-60Hz, 10-20VA
Output:5V 1A

If the input in Europe is 220V wouldn't this charger work?

I replaced my old 260W with a new 3490LMT. What a difference! Only disappointment is the Garmin manuals. The Starter manual that came with the gps doesn't do much more than describe how to turn the unit on and off. The complete manual downloaded from Garmin is better, but leaves much to be discovered in features and much for trial and error learning.

I, for one, have been hoping that Garmin would eventually offer an Android application with maps stored on the smartphone allowing off-line navigation here in the United States. Now it looks like we just may get it in 2013!

I noticed one thing today about the latest map update.On a short trip to Treasure Island FL.When ever the voice message alerted for a required turn it said go right.Pretty sure it use to say turn right.Throws you off after hearing turn right or left in the past.

Hello Fellow Members, I have been trying to fight with my St Pilot C330 for 6 days now. I have placed my new 2013.30 USA maps, with Options for smaller regions into my internal memory c330. I am trying to supplement the rest of the US and/or Canada/Caribbean onto an SD card.

So I have the latest revision of BaseCamp on a MacBookPro and CN 2013.30.

BaseCamp will not calculate a route when CN 2013.30 is selected. If I go back to CN 2013.20, BaseCamp will calculate the route. If I then switch to 2013.30, BaseCamp will not calculate the route. I have been using the same route for all this.

Any ideas?

Hi everyone. I just purchased a Garmin Nuvi 2555 GPS and I possess very little computer knowledge, and a decreasing level of patience. I am interested in the quickest and easiest way possible to download "red light" camera locations into my device. I successfully did this with a TomTom GPS and don't recall it being this complicated.

I had recently started having sporadic problems with my nuvi 1390. It will lock up and not show routing. Once it gave me an error saying out of memory. Now when it is turned on it shows the GARMIN startup graphic but will do nothing else. Has anyone else seen this problem and resolved it short of returning to Garmin. Of course the warranty expired in October.

I have a garmin 1490 lmt and have yet to use the traffic feature because it dosn't cover my area. Next week when I head south for the winter I hope to be able to use it. Is the feature worth the money and do it cause more problems navagating????

I recently purchased a 2555 and am having some issues saving new locations to it. I used to use a 2460 and saving new enpoints was an easy process. With the 2555 I can only save new endpoints easlily (and name them) by hitting the vehicle icon while at the location. Is there an esier way? This kind of defeats the pupose of programming a location and then navigating to it later.

I recently used a supplemental SD card for my Garmin device while I was overseas in Australia. After returning to the U.S., my Garmin tells me my North America map data isn't available. Garmin tells me I can simply re-load maps by purchasing their "lifetime" map updater for $90, but that seems ridiculous. Am I missing something here? Any other way to get my North America maps back?

Anybody else see this error? I periodically see this come up on my 560LMT -- OUT OF MEMORY. When it comes up, there's an "OK" bar, and I tap it, it goes away. No other effect that I can tell.
