I appreciate the fact that one of us in the Forum Created an ARCO Icon, however, it is s-o-o Small that I can barely tell its even there. Does anyone have maybe just a Smidgen Larger ARCO Icon? The current ARCO Icon works OK but I would like to see it Bigger.

SD vs Internal file
When I downloaded the latest map update I was told the map was too large for my internal memory. Rather than use an SD card, I chose to download the smaller file.
Does anyone know what I may be missing? Am I missing important pieces of the database, or just some geographical areas I may never visit?

I created a gpx using EPL, with 2 text locations, and set a photograph and a alert .wav file for each location
I see that the pic is seen in the GPS, but the .wav file aint playing at the proximity setting.
Is this even possible ?
I do have the poi-factory POI's with the .wav files working, but thats 1 WAV file for every POI set..

I went out and bought myself a new garmin the 2595lmt. I am pretty impressed with it. the voice activation really comes in handy.

MapInstall software version 4.0.3
Change History
Changes made from version 4.0.1 to 4.0.3:
Improved performance for map trimming and map building.
Improved performance when switching between pages.
Added functionality that allows using the middle mouse button to pan the map.
Fixed progress feedback at the end of trimming (MapInstall should not remain at 100% for a long time without actually being at 100%).

how to format a 560lmt??
after 1.5 hours whith garmin support we got to the conclusion that i need to send my gps to them so they will send my a rebuild one. do not have time for that.
main problem:
after software update the clock is not doing the time zone change anymore, besides, the automatic box in the clock is greyed-out.
i'm on the road 3 weeks at once I need the gps.

Can maps go on SD card that already has Music on it?
No problem with upgrade... Just got back from a quick test....
2013.30 NA loaded on my 660 with 29.8Mb Left...
A question for 'Next' map upgrade.......
I already have a 4Gb SD card in the 660, with 1.5Gb of music on it.... Therefore, 2.5Gb of free space...

upgrade GPS
It's time to upgrade my nuvi 660 to a new unit. I like the 2460, but most of the units online are refurbished. Is there a problem with this unit? Are refurbished unit good as new, or better. Any other units that might be better?

I just replaced a Nuvi 660 with a Nuvi 1450 and love the vehicles you can download and install. I'm a big fan of the X-Wing Fighter! Such a cool idea.

Traffic alerts on the 3590
On a recent round trip between New Hampshire and Florida, I noted many locations for which my receiver was out of range. Unfortunately, in some of these locations there were serious backups. Garmin offers an optional subscription for TTN support for the GTM60 receivers.

Had any success pairing a Galaxy Note 2 Smartphone Link with Nuvi 3790? My Note 2 bluetooth paired but both device not talking to each others.

Garmin Nuvi350 power from car problems
I'm having trouble getting power from my car's cigarette lighter receptacle. If I can't power my Nuvi350 via the car, the Nuvi350 won't be much help on long trips.
Like always, the red light on my Garmin Nuvi350 auto power cord lights up when I insert the plug into the car, but my Nuvi350 no longer is getting recharged via the auto power cord.

does nuvi 50 support waypoint associated with jpg
I created waypoints using Mapsource and associated a jpg with the waypoint. The waypoint was created with a proximity alert. When I search for the waypoint via the custom POI. it does show up on the map and tapping on the bubble on the way point, I see the proximity information as well as a thumbnail of the jpg and tapping on the jpg, the pic shows up correctly.
Acquiring Satellites - why slower than before?
I noticed that suddenly my Nuvi 765T takes much more time to acquire satellites. Several months ago it was literally 10 seconds, now it's 2-3 minutes. What gives?
