Text Files (missing)
I just purchased a refurbished 765T so far it seems to be working OK. I decided to look thru the file folders and noticed some text files missing, all the foreign ones to be exact. So I compared them to the nuvi360 and they were all there. My question is are they needed? and if so can I transfer them from the 360.

A long way to avoid a toll!
I asked my Street Pilot to calculate a trip from Columbus, OH, to Meredith, NH. I was shocked that it was a 2300+ mile trip, taking me to NH via Minneapolis, north of the Great Lakes into Canada, and then to NH.
Then I checked the settings and found that I had told it to avoid toll roads. I changed that and asked it to find the route again and it was about 820 miles.

Cannot use POI loader
I have a Garmin 260 and cannot update the POI files. When I open the loader, my Garmin is displayed. When I try to load the files, message says: not ready, cannot open card. I reloaded the Loader, installed another card and I still get the same message. The unit shows the current POI's that are loaded. Any help would be appreciated.

POI Alerts
My 1490 does not alert me when approaching a red light camera. The proximity alert feature is checked for my custom POIs. I have searched around for a setting I may have missed, but cannot find one. Does anyone have any ideas on what I may be missing?

problem on my Garmin
Hi, I have just updated the software/firmware of my device ( Garmin zumo 660 ) from the Garmin site. After the download was ready a pop up tells you to unplug the device from the USB and let it restart.
The problem is, it just stays on the Loading maps screen when it restarts.

Green progress bar
I get a green progress bar whenever I hook up the USB cable on my nuvi 760. Anyone know what this means?

What do you think of the Garmin 3790T? Also Garmin is putting LMT on less expense units and not on the $450.00 3790T what is up with that????

Turn announcement time
On a 265T, is there a way to have it announce turns earlier? I found that the GPS sometimes call out the turn too late. For example, on a highway to exit in 600m. When you are moving at 120km/h, it is a bit of a rush to change lanes in that distance.

Internal zip files
I have had a Garmin 260W for a couple of years and just recently desided to add a few POI's. Well, long story short, I was inside of the 260's memory and deleted three zip files and now my unit says it can't load maps. Does this mean I go shopping for a new one? Thanks.

Garmin 750
My Garmin 750 tried to get me to turn right into the Charles river when navigating to my hotel. It was peak traffic at 5pm and I was not impressed!

Why can't GPS be more interactive
I really wish there was button that could be pushed on the GPS when the driving directions take you to a wrong place or a place that is closed. I really enjoy using the POI function, but sometimes my little buddy (Garmin) does not know where the heck he is going. There should be away to report the information via the GPS unit.

Garmin 265WT in Canada and USA show different information
My Garmin 265WT in Canada (Montreal area) show Traffic, but does't show Speed Limit, if I cross to USA it starts to show Speed Limit but does't show Traffic.
Somebody know why?
Map view before departure?
On Nuvi 1340, is there any way in which you can see the whole route in map form prior to departure? Just like to have some idea of the route before I leave. I will eventually get to grips with this technology.
