I know there is a forum on this subject but I'm not sure how much attention it gets. But was just wanting someone to test out a vehicle I made. Well it's not a vehicle It's Garfield the cat. Yeah I'm a die hard Garfield fan lol.

Ok just bought the 1350 and went to put in wav sounds and the p0 loader would not reconize the file. So my question is does the 1350 have the ability to do wav and if so what do I do Thanks.

I used my nuvi 760 on two trips this week and both times it took a long time to switch between the "Favorites" screen and the "Go" screen after I selected a destination. I was using a traffic antenna power cord in Pittsburgh I don't normally use so I thought that might be an issue. But today the nuvi was in it's normal location in my SUV with the non-traffic cord.

Is there any way to get rid of the start up warning message (Do not attempt to enter route info while you are moving .....) Its not a big deal but just kinda of annoying.

Since updates are now automatic on my.garmin.com I don't see a text file or posting of what changes are made with each new version. I know this is always done but can't seem to track down where they are now posted. Can someone point me in the right direction for the Nuvi680? Not critical, just always curious about what is being changed.

On several ocassions, I have had favorites that I have deleted show back up in the list.

Also, I connected the unit to my.garmin.com to check for map/software updates and everything was current, but after I turned the GPS on the next day, many options had been reset and additional favorites had been added - without my approval.

Things like Garmin corporate locations, etc.

With about two weeks worth of use on my new Garmin 1490LMT I already have a few feature suggestions.

Wonder if anyone has heard anything or seen any signs of new Zumo models for motorcycles. I went to the International Moto Show in Long Beach last December, but there was no hints of any new Zumo's. The current top models are hideously expensive, and I was hoping a technology refresh would increase capabilities and drop prices.

I have a 295w on the way and was wondering if anyone that has this same model could tell me some of these things about it.

1. does it support the unique voices from the garmin site?
2. what kind of webpages can it view? along with which weather (radars).
3. how do you like yours?

I'm having a slight problem that maybe someone can help me with. I recently upgraded my maps and installed a software update from the Garmin website on my nuvi 350.

For years I've had a folder on my Mac entitled "My POIs" containing several sub-folders such as Addresses, Dining, Lodging, etc. The sub-folders contain different sets of POIs, such as in the "Dining" folder there are separate POIs for Italian, Oriental, American, etc.

In the past whenever I made a change in one of the separate POIs, Italian for example, I would use POI Loader v2.1.0 to upload the new "Italian" POI to my nuvi 350. Everything worked fine and the new POI was in the proper place, i.e., "Dining."

But now when the "Italian" POI is uploaded it replaces ALL of the other POIs. The only work-around I've found so far is to upload the entire "My POIs" folder. Can anyone tell what has caused this change? Although uploading the entire "My POIs" folder works, I would like to be able to upload individual POIs as in the past without having it delete all existing POIs.

Is there a limit to the number of POI files (or total size of them) on the StreetPilot 2720? If there is please explain how I can determine if the size limit has been reached.

Is there a way, using POI Loader on a Garming 1490 LMT, to update POIs without losing any existing POIs?
If they must be replaced, is there a way to back them up, and reintroduce them upon updating?

Anyone taking a trip to Jamaica, Im please to inform you that that there is JAMNAV for garmin nuvi. The map can be purchase from projects.monagis.com/jamnav/. Works pretty well (no address search, poi search instead).

I own a nuvi 855, my question is can I down load a trip created in a trip planning software like Trailer Life Campground Navigator?

I understand the format. The directions state that the notepad can be used so that's what I used. I removed the .txt appendage that MS automatically adds thus leaving just the .cvs file extension. Since my simple effort wouldn't work, I copied and pasted one of the examples. The POILoader still tells me there are no data files in the directory.

Hornbyp's guide to setting alerts with POI Loader (http://www.poi-factory.com/node/1631) is excellent. For Speed alerts, is there a way to only have the alerts when the vehicle speed is exceeding the speed limit (when the speed limit is available?)
