PoiLoader 2.6.0 WAV files and SOX.exe versions

It has long been said that the version of sox.exe has to be 14.0.1 in order for PoiLoader to work when using wav files.

For the heck of it, I tried the latest Sox.exe version (14.3.1) to see if it would work with PoiLoader 2.6.0

It did work but the three .dll files that come with the latest version of sox.exe also have to be copied to the PoiLoader folder.

(There were no .dll files associated with 14.0.1)

Boxcar, I am not sure if you are referring to me finally getting my windmill back or if you mean that I am fighting an unnecessary battle with the SOX.exe version?

Of course both are true so I guess it does not matter. smile

Good to know. I love my custom TourGuide voice prompts ... would hate to lose the ability to upload to Garmin if I ever update SOX
