I upgraded my Nuvi 750 to a 2555 LMT. Since the 2555 only had one voice, I transferred my favorite voice from the 750 to the 2555. It works except she won't say, "Recalculating" any more. I only did it a couple of days ago so I'm not sure what else is missing but she says street names when I tested it.

I’ve been trying to spend some time with BaseCamp and MapInstall to learn their capabilities. I’m having an odd issue with MapInstall that is preventing me from adding maps to my new 1450LMT. My initial map update (to 2013.10) included just the lower 49 US states.

I purchased and installed Roadside America's custom POIs through "Spot It On" on both my Garmin 1390 and 1490 units. They functioned normally for some time, but now the 1490 does not see them in the Extras. I can see my other custom POIs and they all work. I can see all 3 files on both units and the Roadside America POIs work on my 1390.

Changes made from version 6.50 to 6.60:

*Fixed an issue with 2D landmarks not displaying by default for some locales.

*Fixed an issue with backwards Arabic map labels.

Guess it's safe to assume that the subcategory POI issue still remains...

Does the 3590LMT have Auto Zoom. I can't seem to locate it so that I can set it to Auto Zoom.

I am looking to get new unit to use in another car and I was looking at either a 2450 or a 2555. I do not need Bluetooth or voice navigation and I like the 5" screen. Comparing them on the Garmin website they seem similar. I realise the 2450 does not have traffic but that is not a deal breaker.

Ok I am sick of Trip Planner in my Nuvi 2555 so I am looking for the last Nuvi that DOES NOT use it, so please post models if you know them.I know all below the Nuvi 1450 did not have it so are there any after the 1450 that do not have the piece of @%$&#@ trip planner.

Does anyone know if there's a market for used Nuvis? Having replaced both of my older units, I've figure I can sell my Nuvi 680 and 650 to a good home. I figured I would list it on Craigs list, but was curious if anyone has successfully sold one before. Craigslist has some for about $50, so I may have to reduce below that in order to sell it.

What a bummer this AM. Get to work, go to pull out the GTM-20 a little from the unswitched outlet to turn it off and BAM!!! - the GTM-20 practically falls out. The screw-in retainer that holds the power contact and fuse in had broken.

Anyone here having issues with the latest map updates?

My wife just purchased a 3590LMT on the advice of a friend, and she asked me how to set the anti-theft password. I can't figure it out, and the manual is no help. Does this unit not provide an anti-theft password setting as prior units did?

I picked up a 1450LMT a few months ago and find that it seems sluggish when I try to enter a POI by name (i.e. shopping -> spell name) On my 350 it will usually keep up with my typing speed but on the 1450 it lags behind to a point where I have to wait about 1-1.5 seconds before I can enter the next character. Any ideas?

I bit the bullet and got a 2460LMT to replace the 1490TL (L for Lemon). I backed up the 1490T and removed my 16 GB SD card from it.

I would like to Christen the 2460LMT correctly regarding file structure, use or non-use of the SD card, transferring my Favorites, etc.

I downloaded rest stops along the interstate several months ago. I'm preparing to travel and would like to review rest stops along my route. Can anyone tell me how to access this on my device?

I create a custom route in basecamp upload to my Nuvi2555. Go to "trip Planner" find route. I am past the starting point of the route and I select the route I made and click on "GO" at this point I get a list of starting points. If I choose the final destination it wants to take a different route to reach that point.

I do not have any detailed map info. I deleted my gmapprom.img file from my Nuvi 255w by accident. I do have a backup of my device and files. However, i cannot simply cut and paste from my computer to my device. There is not enough space. It seems odd that pasting a file that was just deleted would not fit since it is the same file.

When will we see the first GPS unit taking traffic lights and stop signs into route calculation? I think that would be the killing feature for the competition.

Just purchased a Garmin 2555lmt.

Is there a way to tell if it downloaded to my gps correctly?
