Improved stability of app

Apple has released iOS 12.4 this week.

I have installed it on my iPhone 8+ and on my 9.7 inch iPad Pro, with no negative effects on either device so far.

I know that 3 in 1 computers exist. I would like to find a 3 in 1 Chromebook, that has a built in GPS receiver, that will also work as an Android tablet. Do they exist?

I recall reading that you can install Android apps on some Chromebooks, so I guess what it boils down to is if there are ANY 3 in 1 Chromebooks that have an internal GPS receiver?

My wife and I Were on an Alaskan cruise last week. We flew there and cruised on a Norwegian ship.

Since I didn't have data during much of the cruise, I am just curious what apps people here use for MARINE and AVIATION use, particularly when they have NO data.

As the title says, Apple has released iOS 12.4.

It has installed without issues on my iPhone 8+ and my 9.7 inch iPad Pro.

From the descriptions, it looks like it is mostly a bug fix release, although they did restore one feature that had been previously removed after discovery of a security vulnerability.

Step 1: Prepare your info
Import a file
Make sure your info is one of these file types:

CSV

Files can be up to 40MB.

The first row should contain titles. To import data properly, make sure you have a column with one of the following:

-Latitude-longitude information
-Addresses
-Place names

I have often admired Garmin for their mounts. I have had a few different Garmin automobile navigators and I have been pretty satisfied with the mounts that come with most of them.

IOS 12.3.2 has been released, but it looks like this one is only for the iPhone 8+. The release notes say that it fixes a problem with the camera in the iPhone 8+ and do not mention anything else.

In addition, when I check my iPad Pro for an update, it says that IOS 12.3.1 is up to date on that device.

In any event, I have not seen any problems with the 12.3.2 update on my iPhone 8+.

As the Subject line says, IOS 12.3.1 was released. I have installed it on my iPhone 8+ and on my 9.7" iPad Pro without any visible issues.

The Cicada Brood XIII is currently hatching and you can use your GPS mapping and photo skills to help researches delineate the boundaries. Just pick up the Cicada Safari app for your smart phone, register, and then start taking geo-location images of the species and creepy crawly happenings in your area.

I use my android smartphone on my motorcycle. They are connected by BT. I play my phones music files on the motorcycle audio system. Also have hands free access to my phone. That works great until I startup the Waze app. In 5 to 10 minutes later. The audio to the bike will stop and come out of the tiny phone speakers. Happens every time.

In buying a 2019 Subaru Forester, I intended to run Android Auto on the multimedia screen and Google Maps Navigation on the phone. The first problem to overcome was that the phone kept losing the GPS fix even though it was located under the windshield. First I went to Androidpit:

iOS 12.3 is out

Is anybody here using Network Radios? If so, have you loaded any maps onto them? If so, how well did they work on a device with such a small screen?

Just downloaded and activated my subscription to this this weekend when riding with others this weekend. Kind of some neat tech (GPX load in/out, POI via's, telemetry, etc.) - but the best seems to be the ability to create random routing based on some basic criteria - direction, distance/time, and type of ride (highway, main roads, twisty, and super twisty).

If you were going to buy a device today, primarily for running the Google Maps automobile navigation app, what would you choose? Extra points given for devices that have a mount available that is very good quality, like the Garmin mounts.

For as long as I have had a cell phone, I have sort wondered what tower I am connecting to when I am at home. Yesterday, using the Network Signal Info app on my Samsung Galaxy S9, I obtained the GPS coordinates for the site that I was connect to, entered them into my Garmin DriveLuxe 51 and took a drive.
