A while back, I looked into installing the restroom POI into Android Auto. made for an interesting discussion on the forum. It did not go well. It turned out that Android Auto would not allow a large CVS file to be imported.

Apple has released iOS 14.7.1 and iPadOS 14.7.1 for iPhone and iPad users. The new update comes one week after iOS 14.7 was released for iPhone (iPadOS 14.7 was released two days after). You can update your device by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

Apple has released iOS 14.7 for iPhone, along with iPadOS 14.7 for iPad, along with tvOS 14.7 and watchOS 7.6. The release of iOS 14.7 brings support for the MagSafe Battery Pack and other improvements. You can install iOS 14.7 by going to Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone. New Apple iOS 14.5 is now live.

Apple has released iOS 14.2.2 for download for iPhone users, along with iOS 12.5.2 for older devices. Also available is iPad OS 14.2.2. Users can update by going to Settings > General > Software Update. The update is propagating and is now showing up in Canada, showing up as a 204MB download for the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

A year ago I made a post when I was looking for a tablet. I still haven't bought one for my vehicle. However, now that Droid Star is available for Android devices, I am rekindling my interest in a tablet or a smartphone for my pickup truck. Since Droid Star runs on Android, I can rule out any Apple iPads.

iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4 are now available, include Bluetooth type settings, bug fixes

While this latest update isn’t as substantial as iOS 14.3/iPadOS 14.3, it does include a few notable new features. For example, there’s now a new option that allows users to classify Bluetooth audio device types to identify headphones correctly for audio notifications.

I live in a rural area where cellular coverage is a joke. I've tried Att, T-mobile and Sprint with Verizon providing the best signal. At best, it's only a 1 to 1 /12 bar 1X signal. The rest of the world is gearing up for 5G and I'm still waiting for 3G.

I posted this some time back but now with the Christmas holidays upon us. Looks like a lot of Christmas gifts will be purchased on line and delivered at our homes. For those who don't have a door bell camera or want just another line of security. You can pull out one of those Android tablets or phone that are just collecting dust and make a security system on the cheap.

Just did this update. Took about 45 minutes. A little longer than the last couple. Lots of new stuff and more emojis

Apple recently released iOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.2, the second major updates to the iOS and iPadOS 14 operating system updates that were released in September. iOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.2 come two weeks after the launch of iOS 14.1.

It certainly did not take long for Apple to need to update iOS 14.0 with some bug fixes.

Earlier this week I downloaded and installed iOS 14.0.1 on my iPhone 8+, and it seems to be working without problems.

Looks like they are stating to put out the software version 10 update for Android. Got it Monday for my 2019 Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet.

Today was update day. 3 updates for windows, 1 update for iPad and 1 update for iPhone. I'm taking tomorrow off

Apple has released iPadOS 13.7, which is said to provide some bug fixes.

I have installed it on my 9.7 inch iPad Pro and there are no obvious problems so far.

Apple has just released iOS 13.6.1 and iPadOS 13.6.1 for all users, just one month after the release of iOS 13.6. The update fixes some known issues related to the Exposure Notifications and another one that could make the displays exhibit a green tint.

Got it installing now

I am looking for recommendation for an app to use POI files on an Android phone. The apps I have looked at so far seem lacking. I would like to load the files on the phone and then import the file into the app. My preference is to do this all on the phone, not a webpage. I did a quick search on POI Factory but did not find this posted before. Thank you.

Some members may have already seen this. My Samsung Galaxy A20 Android phone just got the version 10.0 update today. The first thing I noticed under app settings was Android Auto showing installed. No app was showing on the screen. No option to uninstall but you can disable it. After a little searching found this information below.
