I have been given an iPad Pro (9.7" size) by my employer as a Service Anniversary Award. It has a GPS receiver and WiFi capability, but no internal phone. I love the hi-res screen, which started me thinking about the possibility of using the iPad Pro for vehicle navigation.

Has anyone any experience using an iPad like this for navigation?

Garmin just made available a new version of the app. Downloaded but have not yet tested.

I am sharing this in here in smartphones & tablets because most devices that have GPS Location Sharing are either two way radio or cellular based. Anyway, does anybody here have or use any devices for GPS Location Sharing?

I was reading about the Fantom Dynamics LINC today and it lists that feature.

Just went to use the app on my iPhone 6 and the app offered me the ability to download a map update. In the process of doing that now. Long overdue!!!

I’m curious if anyone here has any experience with these relatively new RF / Bluetooth / cellular tracker / locator devices.

Amazon gives it 4.5 stars but it seems to me you have to remember where you put the transmitter fob which is more easily lost than your keys or wallet.

Garmin just released new maps for the iOS App, probably apps.

Are you eager to test out beta iOS release?

I've been testing beta for quite awhile and had no problem with any of the release. I've noticed a performance boost in 10.3 beta 1 if anyone would like to give it a try.

If you've got one of the Navigon Apps and have the Fresh Maps option, a map update is available... Fire up your Navigon app and follow the prompts...

I have had AT&T for a while and a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for a couple of years. There is an app that updates every now and then that I have never used as I don't know what it is.
AT&T Drive

I am assuming that it has something to do with driving .

Has anyone ever used it? Does anyone know what it is? Is it any good?

I bought a new Android tablet recently. I bought Garmin Viago some time ago, but I don't see it as a choice for this tablet, but I still have it one my smsartphone. Has Garmin quit adding new devices, since they no longer are selling Garmin Viago new?

Just came out, fixes bugs and other stuff.

After more than a year Garmin just released a new version. I'm downloading right now.

Has anyone had any problems with the latest update?

I was looking for information to help me on Google Maps and could not find the post I wanted so I think I will start a post for Google Map Information.

My first question is:
I have found that if you make a route with multiple stops on the phone or tablet you can send an icon to your phone or tablet (the item you are making the route on).

Out of curiosity, how many actually preordered or plan to get the iPhone 7?

I actually preordered since T-Mobile actually had a great offer to get it for free with trade in, trade in value bill credit and EIP financed by T-Mobile for 24 months.

Just read an article that phone companies have to unlock your
cell phone if you ask. There are rules and conditions.
I am on AT&T and this is the site I followed. I have put in for an unlock code. It takes a couple of days to get it. Will let you know if I get it.
The article was on c/net I think. It told about several providers and the rules but I only read AT&t.
