THM Files
I just purchased a Kodak Camera to replace my old faithful Fujifilm. I noticed that now with the new camera for every JPG file I now have a THM file to match it on the SD card. My present process is just to sort the files by type and just delete the THM files before transferring from camera to computer. Per information research on the web.

Just got "service" under battery health iOS
My phone is the iPhone Xs 64. Remember I switched to Apple in 11/18, because I got it for $249 brand new.
I have to say as far as the device itself, seems to have had zero issues. It's been dropped 3X severely enough to crack the screen protector.
My battery was 82% for a long time, but now 77% and it has "service" under settings.

iOS 15.3.1 for iPhone and iPadOS 15.3.1
Apple has released iOS 15.3.1 and iPadOS 15.3.1 for download, which it says “provides important security updates for your iPhone and fixes an issue that may cause Braille displays to stop responding.”
The update is coming in at 255 MB for the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
You can update your iPhone or iPad by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

You Can Now Download iOS 15.3 for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
Apple has released iOS 15.3 for download for iPhone and iPod touch users, along with iPadOS 15.3 for iPad.
The latest update includes bug fixes and security improvements and is “recommended for all users,” says Apple. The download size is 1.06GB for the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Switching from Android to iPhone
I was thinking of switching from Android to iPhone but first, what are the pitfalls of doing that?
On my Android phones, Google apps run gmail, contacts, calendar, and photos and they are synced across tablets, phones, and PCs. Can Google apps run on an iPhone? For navigation, I think Google Maps is superior to the Apple navigation app.

Making Restrooms POI Available on Google Maps
A while back, I looked into installing the restroom POI into Android Auto. made for an interesting discussion on the forum. It did not go well. It turned out that Android Auto would not allow a large CVS file to be imported.

1 week and already an update - iOS 14.7.1
Apple has released iOS 14.7.1 and iPadOS 14.7.1 for iPhone and iPad users. The new update comes one week after iOS 14.7 was released for iPhone (iPadOS 14.7 was released two days after). You can update your device by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

The release of iOS 14.7 brings support for the MagSafe Battery Pack and other improvements. You can install iOS 14.7 by going to Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone. Apple has released iOS 14.2.2 iPhone
Apple has released iOS 14.2.2 for download for iPhone users, along with iOS 12.5.2 for older devices. Also available is iPad OS 14.2.2. Users can update by going to Settings > General > Software Update. The update is propagating and is now showing up in Canada, showing up as a 204MB download for the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

What Android Tablets Or Smartphones Should I Consider To Mount In My Vehicle?
A year ago I made a post when I was looking for a tablet. I still haven't bought one for my vehicle. However, now that Droid Star is available for Android devices, I am rekindling my interest in a tablet or a smartphone for my pickup truck. Since Droid Star runs on Android, I can rule out any Apple iPads.
