I was wondering if the external mic is worth buying for the 680 and if anyone has had any experience with it.....sometimes the party I am talking to gets an echo........would an external mic help that?..........Dave

I have a number of custom POI files on my Nuvi 350 but only one "speedway stations" has a proximity alarm. How do I change the files so the others have it to?

Here is another store that you can add to your Wawas csv file. I don't know the address, cause it isn't on their website yet (which is pretty sad that they can't even keep up). It is 24 and Gas

Does anyone know if the usb port on the c5xx models are usb1 or usb2? I believe it is 1 cause it takes so long to copy files from it, but not sure.

We've had alot of folks post their concerns about the portable units and the likelyhood that they could be hoisted by the criminal element but what about those in-dash contraptions?? Do they have security features built in to prevent this?? Anybody have a unit stolen?? What do the car dealerships provide info wise when they are promoting the sale?? Curious minds want to know!!

New to the forum - love it so far.
Just bought a Nuvi 680 and was pokin around and came across the airline post.

Thought it might be fun for people to post their max speed attained for braggin rights and all. Did a search for this kind of post and didn't find anything so I appologize in advance if this topic has been started already.

I'm going to the Pittsburgh area today so I will see if my MSN will have coverage and work for me.......I didn't realize till after I bought my Nuvi 680 that I did not live in the coverage area............Dave

I see Garmin has enhanced their look..more up to date style.

• by device (if specialized)

I have gotton a lot of help on how to use my gps and about poi. I do not think 5 bucks is alot to pay for the red light.

When I am looking for unread messages, the unread items say "new" and are in red. However, if the discussion carries on to a second page, the latest items are not designated as new nor are they in red.

I downloaded some POI's into my garmin C550. Now when I load a route to a location....How do the POI's come into play?
