Did I miss something? How are members adding the pictures that appear next to their name to their posts? Can you add your picture of choice or is there a set library of images you have to use?

Does anyone else your POIs as a source for contacts. In other words, you don't care about their locations, but you want their contact info in the GPSr.

Well, I have started too, and it is nice.

I HEARD YOU CAN ADD A FM TRANSMITER TO THE NUVI TO PLAY THROUGH THE RADIO. I GOT ONE AND I CANT SEAM TO MAKE IT WORK. ANY IDEAS?

The weather finally got warm enough to ride the motorcyle and so I tried out my new Ram motorcyle mount with my Nuve 680 and it worked great........it never moved once after I set it...........Dave

When I Get Near A Camera The Unit Beeps Twice Info Top Bar Goes Red (Not That You Have Time To Notice This While Driving) How Can I Voice The Warning The Same Way As It Tells You To Turn Left/Right ect.
Does The Main Main Map File Load From The SD Card Before Running, If Not How Do I Re-Edit Main File To Add Extras Voice Warnings And What Format And Size Should The Be?

I know this is somewhere, but I want to go to bed and not search for it. But how do you load a bmp to the site? made a few csv files and now what to add the bmp to the site

My wife and I took a rather short trip to a restaurant and used my Garmin 340. I didn't realize it at the time, but I set the address to the wrong city in Maryland, but with the correct street address. The gps went literally bezerk, re-calculating after every street I passed. Here's my obeservation: I could detect an annoyed voice coming from Jill, my onboard Garmin speaker.

I live in Ct and travel thru NY & NJ a lot. My nuvi 660 wants to send me along I-95 and the GW bridge. I want to avoid that area and use I-684, I-287, and the GSParkway. I used Mapsource & the tracking to reroute to my favorite route, but something went wrong and it tried to return my to the NYC route. Have other people used this feature with success?

Bought Unit In UK From Motorworld £300 Down To £150 Demo Stock (Now 3 Days Old) Registered But Serial In Use Came Up Got Motorworld To Change Detials Through Garmin. Tried Map Unlocker But Never Had Yellow Code Number In Box E-Mailed Garmin Direct & Phoned Each Day.

OK. Now I am confused. 2 Questions.

1) If I set an alert using POI Loader (manual mode) for an alert in distance, is that a radial distance from the coordiantes of the POI?

I am in the process of making a POI list of Hot Springs (natural and man made) for California. Any idea's out there. I'll be using Soak.net & Mapsource to located by lat/long(waypoints). Any suggestions or inputs would be apprieciated. Does anybody know where I can find a good hot spring icon? Any interest in hot springs at all?

So in about a year I'm taking my kids on the long promised Disneyland vacation...essentially I'm out of excuses as to why we can't go anymore so we're going. Anyway, anyway, as part of my searching for maps/guides, etc. for that area I came across this site:

I tried to download the shipwreck files to an sd card and it said they were improper...Does anyone know how to correct them...I think the description is incorrectly placed in the A column....

when you download different poi's, is there some sort of alert that tells you, you are near a poi? If so, how can I set that up? Thanks
