Does anybody know of POI file for Bank of America locations?

Has anyone had any luck finding a 3rd party map for Europe or Israel? I rented a GPS last year from Hertz and I could have bought a whole unit for the price they charged. I'd love to take my Nuvi with me next time I go, but Garmin doesn't produce maps for everywhere there are roads yet.

I'm new to the forum and new to the GPS world. This site is amazing!

I bought the Nuvi 350 a couple weeks ago. When I bought the GPS, it came with version 8 maps and I used the web updater to update everything including the little icons. I haven't really had a chance to put it to use until yesterday afternoon.

I wonder if auto insurance would actualy pay for a unit if it was stolen or ruined by the sun or ruined in a crash...........probably not............Dave

I have a Garmin etrax vista c and just got a new nuvi 360. I would like to know if I can upload my waypoints from my vista c to the nuvi 360? Thanks for any help.

I have a garmin c330, I would say it is the low end product. Are there any other gps that would give me height restriction? for example it will allow me to pick the vichile im driving. I put bus in as Im driving a motor home and yet it put me on the blueridge park way and there were low tunnels.
are there better units out there?

I just purchased the Garmin 2720, primarily for the STT and the ability to load custom POI'S. Does any one think that the Nuvi 350 would be a better purchase than the 2720? I like the portability and battery factor but aside form the MP3 player (which I don't need), I think the 2720 has a few more benefits, bells and whistles, etc.

I bought my Nuvi 680 at Best Buy for 999.00 and they have an extra warranty for 99.99 for 4 years coverage.........just wondering if anyone has had experience with warranties yet?............Dave

I have the Gamin C530 and I am trying to install more than one POI file both my sd card and the Garmin. I have successfully installed one file one each but every time I add a second file it overwrites the previous file installed. The files have different names. Can anyone help me?

This certainly falls under the "Misc." category so I'm posting it here for fun. I wonder what Garmin would do?

Follow these steps [in order of course]

1.go to www.google.com

2.click on maps

3.click on get directions

4.type in go from "new york" to "paris, france"

5.scroll down in the directions to number 23 and read

6. Have a good laugh.

I have loaded poi loder and I have down loaded flying j and when I open poi loder I keep getting message that it is loaded on my computer? Im new to this so thanks

Hello, recently bought a garmin street pilotc550. Looking for a file that takes bridge height into account when plotting a route. I have a 5th wheel that is over 13 feet in height. Anyone know of a file that does this that I can down load that would do this by having me imput my minimum height?

My question is:
Over the weekend I let my Garmin c340 take me to my son's new house. Only one mistake-It took me down a dead end street. Reversed,recalulated and then took me there. When I got home, I got directions from Yahoo maps and lo and behold, it took me down the same dead end street. Can anyone explain this to me? I am just interested in an explanation.
