I just finish writing an Excel Macro to generate GPX files. This allows you to have dial-able (I think I just created a new word!) phone numbers.

Assumptions:

1) First line contains headers!

Well folks, Sunday is the BIG day. Gonna take my first real trip with my c350. Yes I know it is a holiday, however I promise not to eat any bread during my Passover Holiday. The trip is taking me from Balto to Philly and back to see the Flyers play. If you happen to see someone driving in circles, stop and ask if you can give some assistance.

Is there any way to add additional waypoint icons into a garmin map60csx. I see a place for custom waypoints, they look like blue purple dots under the selectable waypoints.
Can i download some to mapsource?

I have a C330 street pilot. If I input a POI in under favorites the symbol shows on the map as I get closer but I don't see any other POI nearby even though there a allot of them in the GPS device.
I currently have the detail setting on "most" (the highest setting). Is there someplace else I can adjust the seting so it will show the nearby POI symbology?

I downloaded a poi and in the csv file it has the coordinates, name of location, and city in the 4th column in excel, but in notepad, I can see the full address and telephone number. What am I missing in Excel? I noticed that there are carriage returns is that why I can't see it in excel?

I am woundering, how many people here use icons for there POI locations?

I find using them can be good for some uses and bad for others.

I think it is also the way they are created and what type of GPS you have.

I have a large collection of these icons for use (and starting to make my own to fit some of my other POI)

anybody out there find a way to mount a c 330 to your motorcycle ? i have a sportbike very fast and like to ride wheelies and when i set the font end back down from a wheelie it comes down hard and i need a way to mount it to the bike so it wont fly off .

i was thinking of upgrading my c 330 to the model with the blue tooth and was wondering how well the blue tooth feature works any advice ?

Actually, they aren't facts, cause I could be wrong, but here is what I think about SD cards.

I didn't realize that they come in different speeds. That can explain why some say that they see a big difference on POIs on SD vs internal memory. From the little I researched, I saw from 60X to 150X.

How often are the red light POI files updated?
