Not trusting my Nuvi 680
From past experiences in a town I am familiar with and the way my Nuvi 680 tries to take me down dead end streets and the long way around and then right into a bridge out sign..........well yesterday I was in an area I knew a little bit about and so I punched in to go to my daughters house and it took me down this old road that turned to dirt and gravel for abougt a mile and I was on my motorcyle

noise cancelling mic besides Garmin branded
has anyone bought an external microphone besides the Garmin one?
The reason I woudl like to explore other options is because Garmin's microphone does not have any noise cancellng technology and everyone who complains on the other end of my calls complains about the "noise"

POI Verifier
RT, I tried to 'clean up' my copy of the BURLINGTON .csv file after noticing your update, but I wasn't allowed to. I got the following error message after trying several times:
USE A TEXT EDITOR, NOT EXCEL, TO CHECK FOR DUPLICATE QUOTES.

Memory usage for pop-ups
Will the constant use of alarm pop-ups have anything to do with the memory on my Nuvi 660. I have many pop-ups on my Nuvi. Does it do any damage to have too many pop-ups?

Ways to improve the nuvi360 speaker?
Can someone share ways they have improved the sound coming out of the nuvi 360 speaker? Is there a device you can plug into the headphone jack that will broadcast the sound over an FM channel so you can listen in on your stereo?

Do you have to buy a garmin external mic?
Is the Garmin external Mic special or necessary? Or can you just buy any mic that has the same male jack size?

Newbie Question regarding difference in maps you purchase
Just purchased a Nuvi 360. it comes with a pre loaded map. You can buy City Navigator NT, North America for $199. I figured for that price there has to be differences. Can someone tell me what they are?

Red Light Camera questions
I can't seem to find a real solid explanation. I noted that when I get near a Red Light intersection that my Garmin says "Red Light Camera.xyz". What's the code after the period used for?

Nuvi antenna orientation
What works best? Orienting the flip up antenna parallel to the ground or turning it straight up? Parallel seems to make more sense, but I've seen some stuck straight up. Garmin doesn't address this in their manual.

GARMIN LOCATION MOUNTING
Just wondering what evryone else does.
I mount my GPS (Windshield mount)within my reach for local trips, so I can mash buttons when ever I want. How-Ever, for longer trips (Using the RV), I mount the GPS on the passenger side, and only let the passenger (Navigator) mash buttons.
Just seems a little safer on long trips.

INTERSTATE REST AREA POI'S
Just wondering if downloading interstate rest area poi's will cause proximity alerts to sound on my gps everytime I pass one or does it just show up on my map? OR, do I have to do a search for them manually, when I am traveling?
