Just want to let everyone know that the latest PD POI's have been uploaded. Included are the following NJ counties: Atalntic, Bergen, Hudson, Monmouth and Ocean.

This will be an ongoing project as there are 21 counties in the state of NJ!

Okay, I have been using my old quest for BOTH car navigation and moderate geocaching use but I just got a nuvi 350 and it isn't waterproof and has fewer off road features than the garmin quest.

I'm using version 8 map on my nuvi 350. I was driving around my area and the nuvi gave me a route to go on a one way road against traffic.

From what I read on other threads, I tried reporting it to navteq using this link:

We are going to be rolling out a new feature for you to play with today, however it is not ready yet so I am not going to tell you what it is.

At least with regard to my vehicle, if you are considering a vehicle with GPS make sure you are happy with how it operates before you decide on it. I have been using my integrated navigation but have been unable to find a 'hack' for it to allow me to fiddle while driving.

is there a poi link for state lines???

This week we are recognizing P38nut and Rhamona as our contributors of the week and giving an honorable mention to manchvegas.

P38nut kind of came in and took over this week with his Olive Garden project. We love that you are so willing to help with large POI file creations like this. You were an inspiration to many this week and we are really pleased to have you on board.

I searched but could not find the answer to; how do you added album art to your mp 3 file so the appropriate album cover is displayed? Sorry if this has been discussed but I couldn't find it

Did I miss something? How are members adding the pictures that appear next to their name to their posts? Can you add your picture of choice or is there a set library of images you have to use?

Is it just me? or is everyone like older then me...lol. I am 35

Does anyone else your POIs as a source for contacts. In other words, you don't care about their locations, but you want their contact info in the GPSr.

I HEARD YOU CAN ADD A FM TRANSMITER TO THE NUVI TO PLAY THROUGH THE RADIO. I GOT ONE AND I CANT SEAM TO MAKE IT WORK. ANY IDEAS?

Hello if somebody can help me i would love you to death lol.I just changed my gps to a magellan 6000T and so far i regret it. i can't get the poi to load on my unit.

The weather finally got warm enough to ride the motorcyle and so I tried out my new Ram motorcyle mount with my Nuve 680 and it worked great........it never moved once after I set it...........Dave

When I Get Near A Camera The Unit Beeps Twice Info Top Bar Goes Red (Not That You Have Time To Notice This While Driving) How Can I Voice The Warning The Same Way As It Tells You To Turn Left/Right ect.
Does The Main Main Map File Load From The SD Card Before Running, If Not How Do I Re-Edit Main File To Add Extras Voice Warnings And What Format And Size Should The Be?

I know this is somewhere, but I want to go to bed and not search for it. But how do you load a bmp to the site? made a few csv files and now what to add the bmp to the site

My wife and I took a rather short trip to a restaurant and used my Garmin 340. I didn't realize it at the time, but I set the address to the wrong city in Maryland, but with the correct street address. The gps went literally bezerk, re-calculating after every street I passed. Here's my obeservation: I could detect an annoyed voice coming from Jill, my onboard Garmin speaker.
