Over the last few days I have been running two households, mine and my best friends. She is on vacation with her hubby for the next couple of days and I have taken on her two boys. So I will not be answering emails in a timely fashion like I usually do because of the extra work with 2 additional kids and an additional house to take care of.

i have the poi for the wv va nc sc ga and fla rest areas, also the fla publix , flying j,s , travel americas ,and along my trip to fla none of the alerts went off except two ,one was a rest area in va and the other was on the new river gorge bridge in wva (which i didnt even put that one in)what could be the problem

I just made the update of my c330 with the software 5.50.

Anyone know how much memory the C550 has for uploading files like POI's?

hi all, anybody loading magellan maestro 4040 for red light cameras?.. Does it work?..How about those icons and voice alerts like garmin users did?..This is my first GPS and still learning, thanks.

Micro Center (www.microcenter.com) has a 2GB Flash Card (Item # 932392) for $15.99 each online. No Rebates Necessary. I have used their house brand flash cards and flash drives for years with No Problems. They also have a 1GB Flash Card (Item # 602920) for $9.99 each online.

I received an extra charger when I bought a dash mount on eBay and was wondering if I can somehow hard wire it into the fuse box or something. I know people do it with radar detectors and ipod setups. Is there a writeup anywhere on how to DIY this?
In a related question, do most people generally leave their unit plugged in most the time or go on battery power and only plug it to charge?

My Garmin nuvi 680 seems to work better when my cell phone is off. My cell phone has a built in GPS receiver. A friend thinks that there may be some sort of signal interference from the satellites. Is there some way to change the channel of my Garmin so that it will work better around my cell phone?

How do I add a red light or camera ICON to show up on my ZUMO 550 when a red light camera is near

Has anyone figured out how to see what an icon is when it is partially hidden behind another one? I have several that are on top of each other and I can never get the descr, even with a stylus.

Some people are working on Volvo Dealers (USA-In Progress), but have furnished me with .gpx files and I don't have a clue how to convert them to .cvs files. I know "poiedit" will do that, but can't to seem to work my way through it.

I purchased the C330 for my husband for his birthday. I am now traveling away from home and am using his C330 until I purchase one for my car. I noticed that the preset POIs in the GPS are old. The places that are listed are no longer even there. Is there a way to remove them?

I have a Garmin 530. When the base is attached to the ball of the suction mount, it appears to be loose on the ball. The base just pivots down without any pressure. Is there anyway to fix this? thanks

I called Garmin technical support to find out how to change my vehicle icon and the man mentioned something about playing video on me 680. Does anyone know what I need to do to play video files?
