My Friend called me and said he just bought one from best buy and the box it come in says Garmin SP C350 don't make sence

I'm a new member and also new to the world of GPS. I'm a bit confused by the POI loader program (Garmin) as the documentation is a little light in explaining the directory structure so everythings shows up correctly.

I recently received my 660 and tried it out. Im very disappointed to report that it is not possible to hear Jill over the road noise and the radio on medium volume. My 330 was able to overcome any noise level in my car. Anyone else having this problem? Switching to the fm yields annoying static and muffeled announcements.

Ok, the other day, my aunt asked me to tell her the best GPSr to give to her roommate (They are in their late 60's/early 70's). Of course, I said Garmin. But that is because I am a Garmin zombie. I told her that it was a lot easier to learn then a Tom Tom (based on my experience with my father's). But I didn't really say anything about Magellan. My father told her the T2.

I have been wondering how the information is sent, and am sure someone here has the answer.
When the camera snaps you photo, how does the signal get back to the police headquarters, or where ever it goes? Is it a wireless signal, or sent via TV cable, or sent over a phone line? I have read that some are still pictures, and some are movie, but have not seen how it's transmitted.

I created a POI for the Christmas lights that were published in our local paper. Should/could that be shared? It's the addresses of private homes that go overboard and REALLY decorate their houses.

Any LG users out there?

Hello everyone, would anyone be able to assist me on how to attach an alert(sound/icon) to a poi I've just downloaded, I'm not sure if you need to make an new folder for the alert or have both in the same folder as your poi's........once I solve that issue do I copy the name of the poi and attach to the alert??

I recently saw a GPS unit on one of those shopping channels which had realistic graphics of intersections with overhead signage just as the actual location. I think the brand name was Navigon. Does anyone have any experience with this unit and if so is it any good?
