Sound files

No thats not an option.

Well then what is the

Well then what is the problem?

You need to be more descriptive, bebo, when stating your problem or we can't help you with your problem.

Is there an error message? What browser/OS are you using? Is the file corrupt? Do other sound files play fine? What player are you trying to use ..iTunes, RealPlayer, Windows Media etc?

Please don't be offended by my comments ... but when you take your car for service do you just tell the mechanic my car is broke? No you tell them an exact problem or symptom like blue smoke, a knocking sound or the check engine light...etc

You didn't mention your operating system or which IE you're using, so I'm taking a long shot.

It appears your Internet Explorer's "Content Advisor" is enabled. For step-by-step instructions on how to disable it, click on this http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;1763... link.

Please post if this solves your problem. There are more possibilities if it doesn't.

Your wording makes me question whether you are trying to save the file from within your player, after playing it. From the main list of sounds, you should be able to "Download Linked File" by right clicking on any of the sounds. Does that option not show up, or does it show and your system denies the operation?

Mac Laptop maybe ?

If you are on a Mac Laptop (without a mouse) you
could use the ctrl key and click to get to the
save as option.

From what he's saying ...

From what bebo is saying he doesn't have the option to 'save as', as in it's grayed out. This is exactly what happens if his Internet Explorer's "Content Advisor" is enabled. If he's using Windows and IE, I'm guessing that may be the problem.

No "Save As" Offered to Anybody

You may be right, but when downloading, "Save As" is not an option that is offered at all. I think he might be in his player, but I guess we'll find out.
