Red-light cams get legal green light, mostly

I have a Magellin Maestro 4040 that i got a few month back, overall its a great unit but i just heard about Navigon 7100. Besides free traffic report that comes with Navigon it has "photo-realistic 3D images of junctions" and "lane assistant". Can anyone tell me if Navigon is really that much better or just a useless sat-nav with cool features ))

Being a new member, I am searching for what I suppose are answers to old questions. I use my Vista C with my laptop. nRoute sees the GPS with no trouble. However Garmin's POI utility will not see the Vista C when attached with the same USB cable. Is this possible?

I have been giving my c340 a good work out lately but noticed one thing that I need to get answer on.When the alert for my poi sounded and appeared on my map screen I thought I could just touch the alert and it would give me the option to select to go to that location.It didn't so based on that is the right approach to go back to your custom poi's and then select the location fom there which I kno

Maybe I'm missing something here but I don't understand why anyone would buy the 650 over the 350. I mean, other than a slightly wider display and a little better resolution, the two are exactly the same, so my question is, can anybody make a case for having the 650 rather than the 350? The 350 even has a longer battery life.

I'm brand new to GPS.

Is there someplace where I can find out the basics such as POI formats, How to create a POI file, etc.

There seems to be a problem with the updated Nascar POI. The last line is being rejected when importing the file into my unit. I think it was updated by Miss POI to include line #39 which is the line that is being rejected. It looks okay to me, but it still won't work...maybe Miss POI can look at it.

This is the place to talk about things that are not gps related, you can discuss whatever you would like, as long as it is clean. Remember we have families that have their children involved in the GPS fun and we don't want to make parents feel uncomfortable when their children ask what that word means.

Hi: I'm considering buying another gps unit. while browsing amazon, I noticed that they are advertising a sale on nuvi units with a note that they are no longer in production and will be available for a limited time. Has anyone heard of Garmin coming out with new models??

how do you know your gps accepted the downloaded pois??

hi how accurate is this site? sometimes i put an address on google maps and the result was a little off on the actual place.

Being a newbie, I have a question, I have downloaded a file to a folder on my computer, then opened the POI loader, copied the file to a SD Disk on the NUVI. Question is how do I get the NUVI to read the disk so that I can use the POI file?

Are all icons able to have their background changed to magenta? I am having success with some but others will not accept the colour change.

Hi there, I'm new *points out the obvious* and I was wondering who you notify if you find something has changed in a file. Do you notify the person who submitted it?
