i download weight station and i open with excel i seee 292 weight station and i put in my garmin c530 only i see
50 weight stations and only around 350 mile?i would like to know if after i drive 350 mile i going to see rest of weight stations??anyone can tell me what i did wrong?r 292 weight station but only show 50 my gps!!!!!

I just emailed Garmin's tech support about obtaining a free copy of MapSource City Navigator 8.0 to go with my new StreetPilot C550. They replied that the software is not free, but rather costs $75. They also said that City Navigator 9.0 is due to be released in August or September.

Just checking whether it is me or the software.

Using Simon Slavin's "Mac Garmin" tools, I converted a CSV Speed Trap file to GPX and associated each point with the appropriate Custom Speed BMP and the Speed Alert 2 MP3 from this very helpful website.

The GPX file shows each file correctly linked to the MP3 and Icon.

Just came back from a trip to downtown Chicago..My first experience with my c530 in a major city. Until now, I thought that SirfIII was the answer to the problem with reception in the city.

Has anyone else had this problem with aa Nuvi 350? All of a sudden this morning, no side streets show up and my car was to the left of the main road I was travelling on. The calculated route was way off as well.

I didn't do anything to any settings, just turned it on and it was hosed.

Has anyone had any issues with their MSN direct in the New York, New Jersey area?

I wasted few hours trying to delete current.gpx file. One way or another I ended up with hundres of favourites that I can only delete one by one. How can I do it all at once? I tried POI load, i tried renaming, i tried deleting them through the mapsource.

I'm trying to load POIs on my C330. I've downloaded the POI loader_241.exe and click where I need to, etc. I get to a screen where it recognizes my GPS and asks if I want to Plan a Trip or Load POIs. When I try to load saved POIs nothing happens. After I click Load POIs and OK, the windown closes and nothing happens. When I try to Plan a Trip, I get an error message. What's going on??

Just got a nuvi 660 a couple of weeks ago. Trying to figure out the traffic alerts or lack of. In Michigan, if their's not snow on the roads, they are under construction. On the weekends, they have as many roads as possible limited to one lane.

I just upgraded to a Garmin c550 and need some feedback on choosing a bluetooth cell phone that will be compatible.
I am switching over to Cingular wireless and need to know what phones to look at.

I do not understand why this red-light-cameras is always in the popular content of the day....

It must be a major problem for lots of guy's ...

I have a c340, which as we all know, doesn't have mp3 capability. I downloaded the red light camera files, and they work great....except the alert is the double chime. Is there any way to use the text-to-voice feature of my unit to warn me about upcoming cameras, instead of the chimes? If so, how?

The Garmin c330 is now discontinued.I guess there will be no more updates.

Anyone know how to have your POI's sorted alpha-merically on a Garmin 680? When I use the POI loader, I point to my POI's on my harddrive. They are in order but once they load to the 680 they are not in any particular order I can see. I even took every POI and changed the date and time stamp to see if that would work, but to no avail.

I noticed that the Garming 680 has about 557 mb of usable memory. If you use Windows Explore, you can move the 2 pdf manuals to your hard drive. This will get you about 4 mb back. Now, look into the voices folder. I deleted/backed up first, all the voices other than English. I went from 561 mb to 802 mb free and everything still works.

Can I use the car adapter with my 360 while navigating with the GPS? Or does run off the battery only? Every time I plug the adapter in the Nuvi it goes to charge mode. I have to unplug the adapter in order for it to navigate.

Downloaded and installed red light camera POI. Works okm but....

1. The alert tone (a gentle 'bong, bong') is akin to elevator doors opening. Can I somehow change the alert tone to something more... agressive?

How can I know if my maps are the latest version (i.e. version 8)? Do you I have to pay fees for upgrade?

Has anyone found a way to delete languages and/or voices that aren't being used? This is on the C340 so I can't just read it like a mass storage device and delete them.
