Anyone know how to do this for the "Favorites"?

Update for the c550 is here. Also for the 510 and 530
Garmin must be updating their website as I'm doing this.

Mapsource 6.12.2 (not the beta version, the production version) is now available for download from Garmin.

These are the changes from 6.11.6

Changed the default file format to GDB version 3.

Added web links. This feature allows user created internet search options to appear on context menus.

These search options can use either location or name information.

Added a MiniMap.

The Nuvi 680 is very similiar to the 660. The major differences I've noticed so far are:

Discovered the i3 is now under $200.00 at wallyworld and a terrific lil easy to use gps and passing it along.

I bought a Garmin c550 from eBay which the unit has been locked.
I tried to contact the seller but he is not respond yet.
Does anyone knows how to unlock this unit?

There is an update to the Fm Transmitter software available. I have a 660 and was prompted when running WebUpdater to upgrade from 3.9 to 4.00. Not sure what other devices this would include.

I've been using the XP version of the Garmin drivers fine under Vista.

The install didn't go, so I manually put the two driver files into the Vista computer's Windows\system32\drivers folder for Mapquest to report the correct version number of the drivers.

Is ther anyway to add icons for the c330? I know how to download the poi files, but I see some .bmp files with them but don't know how to get those onto my c330.

Nokia 3650 60 series phone and all works well except the Nokia 3650 wont upload
my contacts phone numbers data to the Nuvi.

I guess because the Nokia 3650 mobile phone with blue tooth is older technology

I have a question that hopefully someone can answer. My wife's employer purchased a c330 for her. I have a navi350. She really liked that I can change the "vehicle" in the map setup. However, I loaded the vehicles into her unit and still was unable to change the vehicle (she is stuck with the blue triangle). Is this simply a limitation of the c330 or am I missing something?

Just updated my computer for the daylight savings time change. Does anyone know how we would change the Garmin c340( as well as the other Garmin products) to reflect the new time change.

Hi, Was wondering who else is using this device. Just got it and need to really look around here for information. Need to know things like can I update the built in maps that came with the device, What software do I need to use when "Creating" POI files. Is there a way to get the Device to let me know that I am going to fast on some of the hiways..

I have the c340 model. Attempted to try the POI Verifier but was not helpful for me as the longitude and latitude were in reverse order when addresses were decoded. Is this technician created program only for the Nuvi 300/350 specifically?

Hi, does anyone know if and when Garmin is going to post a fix for the new DST for the Nuvi 350? They seem to have some fixes for other Garmin's but have forgotten about the Nuvi 350. I have asked Garmin about this but have not received an email with regards to this yet.

Hello, I just stumbled into this web site and am overwhelmed, what a great site this is. I have been reading the past posts and am unable to come up with the answer to my question, so I thought someone here may be able to help. On my Nuvi 350 when I go to one of my favorites it is listed as being 1.4 miles away.

My sneaking suspicion is "arrival time" never factors in stoplights or stop signs. Assuming traffic is moving at or around the posted speed limit, I find the time is fairly accurate for interstate driving, but never accurate for surface streets.

I wanted to load maps for some local mountains where I go hiking. I learned from Garmin's website that they sell the topo maps for $116.

I was wondering if there is any other way to do it for free. I've added some POI's in the mountain areas. But it would be nice if there are some basic road/trail maps for the mountain since now it's entirely blank.

Just got an i3.

Does the i3 take blank micro-SD cards OK?

Does loading a POI file give a list and checkbox (to show) like the other POIs have?

I'd like to be able to load more POI's into my C330. Right now I'm about at capacity (1.52 MB), and I get capacity error messages if I try to load more than that amount. I've heard that the spoken language files are about 1 MB each, but I can't figure out how to remove them. When I hook up my GPS to the computer, I never see the C330 as a drive listed under "my computer".
