gamin350 driving on it's own.while i am at home????

hi, we have had our garmin 350 since feb of this year. we have never had a problem until today. it seems my garmin gps is in new york while i am at home in ct.
it is right here with me but says it it traveling through new york and the little car is moving on the little road. i don't know what to do.
i have looked every where to rprogram it but i can't find anything.
has anyone else had a gps that drives where it wants ???
You might be in simulation
If the gps antenna is closed, and you inadvertently told it to "go" somewhere, it's simulating a route...go to the main screen, and hit "stop" if it's there...otherwise, just push the power button down until it turns off, or, hit the reset button under the antenna.

i just wanted to add the only instructions we got was a fold out colored flyer. nothing in detail on how to reprogram..it said to program when started and then don't worry about it.

The PDF should also be on the unit itself if you hook it up to your computer and search through the device. Page 7 of the manual shows a pic of the Nuvi with the antenna extended for reference.

happee1, it's a flip up, on the back side. You wouldn't be just putting us on would you? I never heard of anyone who couldn't find the antenna.
You should read the manual before going any further.

the only manual we got was a fold out piece of paper with colored picts on it.
the site that was given to me had a great manual on it ....a whole 79 pages worth.
that was very useful but i only got a wall plug and a car plug for it..was i supposed to get a computer plug too...
i am older and i have trouble with new things so id o appreciate all you help.... thank you again
