Garmin talk

Downloaded and installed campgroung poi. it only shows campgrounds about 45 miles from home. am I doing something wrong? is that how it should work? Garmin 2598. any input welcome.

I had Express 4.0.11? it worked fine ,then 14 came out and it would not load,64 bit system then it now says installer missing or on another disc? It also says it cannot delete older version. I have all the rest of Garmin programs but Express just won'install? I sent Garmin an email but i think that was a waste of time. Does anyone have any ideas.

Updated GE from 4.0.13.0. Update went to 4.0.15.0.

i bought a refurb nuvi 2598 a few months ago. Updated it before starting to use it. Now that the latest map update has been released I thought I'd update that, plus install the red light camera files. I downloaded the latest Garmin Express, and after a bit of difficulty got it to see my 2598.

Is it possible to download a trip from Good Sam Trip Planner to my Garmin Nuvi 500? Good Sam trip planner is designed to download to Rand McNally Good Sam GPS, but I wonder if I could download to Garmin instead?

Several Garmin automotive devices now offer Real Directions.

I just purchased my first Garmin after using Tomtom for several years. I was able to move quite of bit of my Tomtom functions to the memory card keeping it up to date. It was a little slow but for its age I guess I would be to.

V4.0.15.0 just downloaded and installed on my Win 7 32 bit PC.

Picked this up over on the Garmin Software forums from user "EXPRESSCUSTOMERCARE". This is the official user ID used by the Garmin Express developers.

Does anyone know a way to disable this feature? I don't like it popping up as I'm arriving to a destination.

I just recently disabled "junction view" by renaming the file extension of the file. Wondering if there is a similar file I could rename in order to prevent the "find parking" feature from activating. Thanks.

I have a new Garmin Nuvi 52 and am interested in adding voice alerts and icons to the red light camera, speed camera, and rest area files I have already installed on my device. Is this a good idea?

I currently have a Nuvi 3490lmt. Other than a larger screen, are there any other big advantages of the 3597lmthd over the 3490lmt?

3490lmt advantages for me over 3597lmthd:
- longer battery life
- lighter and smaller so it can fit in your pocket for pedestrian gps
- cheaper, I bought my 3490lmt for $145 during christmas time

Though we've had the 2689 for a little over a month, Yesterday was the first long enough ride to see multiple Junction Views... We had seen a couple prior, We had heard about them here....but coming from a 660, weren't exactly certain those were JV's. They were...

So Yesterday we saw two different types... Which I'll refer to as: 1/2 view, and 1/3 view.

Looking at some newer models on the internet and found what they call the direct access option. Garmin supports shows this.

Shopping at by best buy, and looking on some Garmin nuvi model, I was curious to know what map date version was on the unit, it was on sale for $239.00,well when I click on tools on map info this is what I saw;

would someone please tell me what this foursquare mean and what coverage does it have?

I know this had to be discussed at some point, however I can't find a simular problem on here, like I have..I updated my map on my 765t, did a hard reset, and my car, on the map, is off on the side of the track..(does that make sense?)instead of it being on the line, it's offset..weird, is there something else I could do, or should have done after my update?
