I get "file not found" when I try the links for the large JCV file...

I am using Basecamp more now that I am having problems with Mapsource not recognizing certain areas of my maps. The question I have is in Mapsource you could always right click on a selected map and choose properties and then see total miles and estimated time of travel. I can't seem to find that info in the Basecamp maps I create.

Any suggestions on files to delete in order to get the latest Garmin map update onto a Nuvi 1450 without having to get an SD card?

I have a Nuvi 500 and when I try to load a north america map update, I get a warning that there is not enough internal memory available, so I then have to choose a region (west, etc) to update. My question is, I have an 8MB memory card in the Nuvi, doesn't not the update maps go there or, can I use the memory card to hold the maps?

Did they release a map update today? How can I check the version? Thanks!

I hope someone can help me I have recently changed from pc to Mac and I have just downloaded latest Garmin map for my 3490LMT but although I know they are on the USB thumb drive I cannot see the system folder.
I have set my Mac to show hidden files but when I click go>go to folder>system it saying no file found.

Just released NA 2015.40, I'm downloading now.

I've been running thus unit for a year or so in a truck, but set to the automobile profile. I took it home because I was getting the memory full message and I updated the maps and system with GE. I also did a hard reset. Now (you knew it was something) I'm missing navigation information that used to be on the right side of the map.

I just installed my first POI file on my Nuvi 52. Its the "Red Light Camera" file. I created a folder on my computer named "Custom POIs" with three sub folders (Red Light Cameras; Rest Areas; Speed Cameras).

This has just started with my Garmin Nuvi 2455LMT and wonder if anyone else is having the issue.

Sorry for another question. Can this be done? Again with my Quest I could do this.

Does anyone know if there is a way to display all custom POI's on the map? I miss my Quest. It would do this.

For the latest versions of Garmin Express none of the updates have installed for me. I was able to install 4.0.8 manually with this link http://download.garmin.com/omt/express/B/GarminExpressInstal.... I tried to update within 4.0.8 and again it would fail to update. I tried this link again and this time it installed 4.0.11 for me.

I was helping a user over on the Garmin software forums who didn't like BaseCamp but wanted to send a route to her nuvi. I suggested Mapquest and she was happy that it worked yesterday. But trying it today, she didn't get the option to send to GPS. So I checked, and sure enough that option in MapQuest appears to be gone. I also noted the TomTom copyrght at the bottom of the Mapquest map display.

I update the Speed Cameras and Red Light Cameras POI's weekly. In the past, after converting the .csv files to .gpx files using EPE 5.93, there was always a blank comment line ("cmt /cmt") between the "name" and "extensions" fields. Until last week, that is. All of a sudden last week, those lines weren't there anymore. They were gone.

Just updated Garmin Express. I can't find the changelog to find out what is different.

I was looking for a new GPSr to replace dying 1490T, and found the following refurbished 3580LMT for$129.98 plus tax at Walmart.
