ZUMO issue
So, my Zumo 550, which is only 1.5 years old has a problem. The power button came off. So much for waterproof. Of course, I'm told that it's no longer under warranty... therefore, get hit with the $150 generic repair charge to basically just replace the front plastic cover. Tried to just buy the cover and replace it myself... 8 simple screws hold it on.

Speed trap alert sometimes only seems to work in one direction
Noticed some odd behavior from our 265W (as well as other drivers) driving to/from Baltimore on 295. There are a couple of known revenue enforcement hangouts near 695 that the unit reports as you approach when you're heading North into Baltimore, but when you're headed South coming home, it doesn't alert.

Lost POIs on Garmin 755t
I am new to my Garmin 755t and have finally downloaded some POIs from the Factory (what a great resource!). It appears that they downloaded into the gps, at least the computer says they did, but I cannot find them. The gps directory says that there are 2 poi files of the approximate correct size on the gps. They are for state/national parks and rest areas.

GARMIN Ease of Use
When I go "Favorites" in "Where To", I have to scroll through dozens of locations to find the one I'm looking for - is there any way to establish sub-folders to make the search faster?

Mapquest Change
I read on Gary Hayman's site a notice that Mapquest had a beta software as of Oct 2009 that would not permit sending of waypoints in routes to a Garmin. I created a route this morning added waypoints, revised the route travel path and sent it to my Garmin. I am using a Garmin 7200 and it worked fine. Is this an issue only with Nuvi's?

Using an SD Card??
Hello all i am quite new to this site I have poked around for a few -
I have a question and was wondering if anyone can help me? I am in sales and i am always on the road - I noticed my Nuvi 265WT has an SD slot so i went out and got a 2 GB card, Great!! well here is the question.

does any one know when 2010.30 comes out
i know april 2010.10 came out
and july 2010.20 come out so when is 2010.30 coming out i thought it would could out about every 3 to 4 mouths was thinking like oct or nov ?

Garmin POI Loader
I've just gownloaded the current POI Loader v 2.5.3 from the Garmin site, and run the install bit.
I cannont find any reference to the POI Loader file created by running the install. Any suggestions? How do I access the file to donload the POI's to my GPS?

POI Proximity - Radius?
I just was told something to the effect that POI's and the distance you manually enter in POI Loader, are not based on a radius. Instead, they will only work by distance if you are on the exact road the POI happens to reside.

My 205 is letting me down
This has been flawless for the last year but now its loosing reception with the sateliites.. I can only connect to 2 or 3..I have the lastest updates and did a master reset...no help. Any ideas,,is this worth fixing or should I get another unit..which one?

RETURN BACK TO ROUTE
If I am driving a Route and I want to know of eating places where I am. Do I have to go back to the Menu and start at the Where To, an than the POIs, or is there another way to get to the POIs without going back to the Main Menu.

Warranty exchange of nuvi 780--replacement is MTK, original was SiRF--complain?
My nuvi 780 recently got the dreaded freeze on "Loading Maps..."; doing soft and hard resets as well as making sure everything was up to date on it didn't solve the problem.
Cops can be OK
Just got back from Las Vegas, had a great time. While there we went to the Grand Canyon on a day trip. I had my GPS with me and it was able to bring me right to it. Going up Highway 64 I exceeded the spreed limit by 8 miles (he was going south and I was going north and was able to clock me and turn around and catch up to me in seconds).
