Simulation mode speed

Hello Everyone,
Does any one know if there is any way to adjust the speed of the simulation mode in the Garmin unit? I am testing some POIs I loaded and wanted to see if/how they appear along the route, so speeding up/pausing the simulation would be helpful.

Nope
The driving simulation runs about 3 - 5 MPH above the speed limit for that area. You can speed up the simulation by adjusting where you start from.

Actually, the reason you may (or may not) see a 3-5 mph increase in the simulation speed is because most nuvi's will "learn" from your driving habits and will use the learned speed in both simulation mode and the unit's ETA to a destination.
If you hard-reset the unit, it will revert to using the default speed values.

That said, you cannot speed up the simulation on the nuvis (it was however possible on older Garmin units like the Street Pilot, GPS V and Quest to name a few).
