Please tell me how to get back all datas of garmin nuvi 680 when i accidentally format the nuvi drive. Now, my nuvi empty . I hope you guys can help me .

Can anyone tell me if the Garmin Nuvi 1400 Series will accept an 4 & 8GB SDHC Cards or only the 2GB SD Card. I know that the SDHC Cards are not backwards compatible if the device will not accept SDHC and could not find anything in the specs.

I have a Garmin 465. In car mode it recognizes Red Light Cameras and gives an alert. In Truck mode it does not recognize or alert RLC's.

Any ideas?

Something unusual happened two days ago I thought I'd share. I have a Nuvi 1450, which has worked flawlessly. I have an 8GB SD card in it for storing POI's. I choose to leave them on the SD card, just a personal preference. It's always worked just fine.

New maps avail for this model. I go to download, comes back and tells me, "not enough memory". I try to erase poi's and etc.( holding bottom right of screen and switching on, followed promp no luck) no luck. Help thanks.

So I broke the USB plug off the end of my Garmin power cord (long story.) I have been using an old cell phone charger to power my Nuvi, but the problem with that is that is thinks its plugged into a computer.

Found the step-by-step POI download instructions for a PC, but what about for a MAC? How do I download, save and open my GARMIN POI transfer app? thanks.

I'm a long-time Garmin user but a first time POI user. Please can someone give me step-by-step instructions how to download the icons and sounds and anything else this cool sight has to offer into my Garmin 2595?

I have clicked on many of the restaurant icons so now how do I get them to my Garmin?

Also, how do I add new traffic camera locations to my Garmin.

I was able to get a 3490lmt at American electronics store.I thought it was a great buy. I report on how well it works next time.

This old page http://www8.garmin.com/support/blosp.jsp used to list all the updates for every unit and the release notes for each firmware update. Now with the new Nuvi's, it seems you cannot just download the updates manually like the old days. You need Webupdater, etc. Anyway, the question is, how does one see a list of the firmware updates and the release notes with the newer units?

Looking to upgrade a very old Street Pilot C330, used by my wife in her car. Considering either the Nuvi 2450 or 2555, main considerations:
- 5" screen
- 2450 has powered mount
- 2450 should be able to take POI files and/or routes from Mapsource
- 2555 is newer and runs the "2.0" guidance system, maybe it won't take POI files??

I am considering purchasing either the Garmin 1490LTM or the 2360LTM. A general comparison makes them seem very similar in most features except for the voice recognition on the 2360. However, does anyone know of the issues with each model. What would you recommend?

Like others, I recently experienced difficulty with space to allow the 2012.30 maps update. After reading other posts, I found how to eliminate enough unused files on the internal memory to allow the update to load.

Does anyone know of a complete list of Ford Dealers? It was posted last year but all were not included. Thanks for any help anyone could give.

I was reading about the feedback Ratings feature on these models; does anyone know if you can also see the average rating submitted by others? Or is it strictly a rating submission? It obviously wouldn't be real useful if it didn't display the average but I haven't read anywhere yet that it does!

When you remove the 3490 from the bracket does it remember the cars location?

If so, how do you get directions back to your car?

Checking out the Garmin site for what Applications it had to offer for the Macintosh, I came across the Garmin Lifetime Map Updater.

i installed it, attached my Nuvi 3790 LMT, and downloaded new maps both to my GPS unit and to my computer.

I have searched everywhere in my computer and cannot find the maps that were allegedly downloaded to the computer.
