All, Just wanted to drop you all a note that i have just updated all of the Cafe Rio Files for every state - I was also asked to make 1 file for all locations (I have submitted it and it should be up in a few days)

Looking for the WMATA poi file for a trip this week. Does anyone know where it went and when it will be back?

Does anyone know a free POI database that has all of the Blue Collection Boxes on the streets/sidewalks for the USPS?

I've tried loading the West Marine POI file for Garmin here a couple of times and it just won't go. All the other custom POI files will load fine, but not that one.

Can someone help me out or take a look at that file to figure out what's wrong?

I travel all over the state of Florida to fish and that POI will come in very handy for me in finding those tackle and boating supply stores.

As of now, I know there are more than 259,000 members here--and growing strong! I wonder how many are actual poi contributors?

Chase bought out Washington Mutual, so there are a lot of branches in California. Don't see any POI file that lists all of them.
How would I get started on the .csv file?

Could I e-mail my POI files from my mac to my daughter who has a dell computer and have here covert them to the format that can be used on the galaxy tab then have her down load them into the tab that I may buy. Or would it be necessary for her to down load them from the poi factory site, convert them, then download them into the Tab?

Never been to one before, seems to be similar to a Hooters or Tilted Kilt. Located in the central part of the US. If anyone has been to one, what is it like?

I'm doing an academic study concerning Mexico and I'm after GPS locations of all Police Stations in Mexico. I'd appreciate any advice on best way to proceed.

I have never been to a Tilted Kilt before, but a co-worker said that I would enjoy it. Has anyone been to them before? I saw a POI on here for them, however it is outdated by more than a year. I created a POI for this on my own, and would like to take this over as well. I contacted the current maintainer, however I did not receive a response from them.

Has any one else noticed that some of the recent CSV POI file updates aren't showing the correct update date on their download page?

The last few GPX file updates that have come up on My Favorite Files page that I've downloaded do show the correct update date.

Maybe it's something I'm doing wrong, but I downloaded the Marriott Hotels CSV file and it only contained one record. The file page also says something about "29 unusable records", but there ought to be hundreds of rows in that file.

Was driving North on I-95 in Delaware and did not get a rest area alert at the Travel Plaza about 1/2 mi. south of Exit 3A. Google Maps has coordinates of 39.661945,-75.691472. This Travel Plaza was under construction but has been completed and is now open.

It would be very useful to have a list of RV Dump stations downloaded into my GPS - specifically for me, western USA and Canada

I have been a member for over 3 months now and I am just curious why some POI file, though they have a designated maintainer, have multiple users uploading changes to the file? I thought just the designated maintaner did the uploads.

Like the auto repair shops, I was thinking it would be a good idea for the motorcyclists to have a list of trusted repair shops when they travel. I started the collection with my mechanic's information:

Used this file today in Madison WI. It led us on a merry little goose chase. Every location we tried to go to was wrong.
