POI projects

Hi Folks

I would love to create a POI files with all the Irving I24 card lock in Canada and USA, have done a lot of searching on a post to teach me how but no luck if any member knows of a post or have a pdf files that would show me how to create such a files in Microsoft Excel would be greatly appreciated.

Anybody have insight on good sites (or even right here) to find boating POI's for fuel stations/marina's for the east coast. Interested in Virginia coast, Chesapeake bay, occoquan bay etc...

Does anyone know if there is a printable Northern Ca. Mile Marker Map. For example, if I wanted to know where mile marker #?? was I could look at the make and it would show the location of that mile marker being aprox. ?? miles N or S of exit #??.
If anyone happens to know of such a map I would greatly

Can any one help me with Suntrust Bank/ATM POIs in NC? I am brand New to this, but love my Garmin based Kenwood Navigation. I see a lot of bank POIs but not for Suntrust in NC area. Please help if you can..

I currently have a list of about 100 addresses for a chain of stores that I would like to use to create a POI file with and eventually upload it here on POI Factory. The addresses are in an Excel spreadsheet with each part of the information in a separate column. By this I mean the columns are name of mall, store name and store number, street address, city and zip code, and phone number.

Two problems with this file:

First off, the name has 136614 instead of just 13661 which implies many more locations that should exist according to the file description. The actual downloaded .gpx file has the correct name.

Secondly, this file fails to load into GSAK. I get an error stating: "This file does not pass XML validation and will be ignored"

Well, here's my problem:

The Bank of America website says thet there are 2 "branches" in the Miami International Airport (MIA). One is supposedly in Concourse B and the other is in Terminal J - South Terminal.

The MIA website says only 1 branch in Terminal D, 4th level.

I would like to volunteer to maintain the BMW Motorcycle Dealerships in the usa. I has not been updated for some time.

I tried to contact the aouther via e-mail but got to reply.

Date shows last updated in 2008.

Wondering if anyone is working on border patrol checkpoints? Not the actual crossings, but the inland fixed stops that are always within 100 or so miles of the actual border. I know some always move, but there are permanent fixed stops that would be nice to have a POI of.

Like to have a file of all the Cowboy Action Shooting Clubs. in the USA..

Interesting result. I loaded two files to my GPS, Speed Cameras_50.csv and I-95 Speed Traps_70.csv using Manual Mode.

The _50 file defaulted to 50 mph, but the _70 file defaulted to 95 mph.

What happened?

Any hope of an update? The data is six years old.

How do I search for A&W?

The search term, no matter how I spell it (A&W, A & W, A and W), is not recognized because it's too short.

Anybody have or know the location of data to build a POI file that has all Hilton Brand locations in the US and Canada.

I found the Hilton.csv but it is only for the US it appears.

Just downloaded, installed, and started playing with Extra-POI-Editor.

Looks great, but after I closed it out, my 'puter ground to a crawl. Even after 5-10 minutes, the process was still active and on the top of the list for memory usage.

I had to manually stop the process.

Yes my 'puter is old and underpowered anyway, but is this normal?

If I find that a POI is missing entries, and there is no contact tab for that user, what can I do?
