Not sure if I worded the topic very well. I can't find the answer via search.

I'm driving on the Long Island Expressway. I don't need to hear an alert every time I'm near a RLC on the service road.

Is there some kind of option that might help. The warning would be helpful if I was going to be exiting but not if I'm staying on the Long island Expressway.

Just this past Saturday morning while driving through Tampa at 5:30 am on the way to host the radio show I co-host from time to time, I came up on a new red light camera that shot photos and had warning signs, but did not show up on my GPS with the latest file from here.

Communities in Illinois can not install speed cameras. Hizzoner & a spokesman are concerned about safety of the citizens. The mayor wants the legislature to pass a bill allowing the cameras.

I heard on the news today the city of Brooksville which is not far from Tampa, will be installing red light cameras early next year.

I will post more information when I hear more about them.

I looked at the file and it is very inaccurate. I looked at Rochester NY where there are 17 cameras. Since the input is by users and only verified by users they can put in what ever they want. The users are the ones that verify. If there are not enough users to verify then the data is not accurate.

Of the 17 Red Light Cameras we have, they show 11.

Voters in Albuquerque, New Mexico turned out in large numbers Tuesday to vote down the use of automated ticketing machines. Nearly 40,000 ballots were cast on an advisory question that City Councilor Dan Lewis placed before voters.

Philadelphia to install 4 new cameras to catch red light runners.

A new red light camera will be up and running and ready to catch drivers that run red lights at the intersection of Broad and Vine streets at midnight on Monday.

Red light runners will receive warnings until Dec. 2. From that point on, violators will be fined $100.

I just heard on the radio the city of Tampa's new red light cameras go active today October 1st.

There will be a one month grace period where drivers will get a warning. After November 1st. tickets with a fine of $158.00 will be issued through the mail.

Starting today, red-light runners face fines instead of warnings on Palm Beach County roads that have new red-light cameras.

The intersections targeted by cameras include: Lantana Road at Jog Road west of Lantana; Palmetto Park Road at Powerline Road; and southbound Powerline Road at Palmetto Park Road, west of Boca Raton.
