Peoria AZ turns them off

A tiny step in the right

A tiny step in the right direction sadly against a stampede going the wrong way!

Lost on LI

The end is near.

Peoria, along with Tempe, Avondale & Glendale makes 4 in the Phoenix area. I did read somewhere that initially accidents did decline in Peoria.
I'm thinking RedFlix is running low on bribe money. LOL

Perhaps in the not too

Perhaps in the not too distant future, there will be no more cams. Seems like so many cities try them and then shortly thereafter, they get rid of them. Guess it doesn't produce enough revenue.

They were voted out in a community around here

I can't recall which city it was. I think it was Heath, Ohio. The residents voted them out and they had to be removed. It seems that too many locals were getting fined and they were pissed.

Now I just wish Tucson would

Now I just wish Tucson would get the hint...instead of taking them down they're putting up more and more speed cameras and red light cameras. On top of that, there are plans for more to go up!

A Noble Experiment

RLC's have been a noble experiment.

But - like prohibition - RLC's have turned us into a nation of scoff-laws.

The new one at West Ajo Way and South Sixth Avenue went online the past Saturday and tickets from there will start on October 31st.

Leave the GPS on even if you don't need it to navigate...
