Redflex bribed Chicago official by giving kickbacks on RLC tickets in return for the contract.
Accusations would be more appropriate but they have always used the term "facts" quite loosely.
Report shows potential bribery and mismanagement led to thousands being falsely accused by speed cameras in Baltimore, Maryland.
Did I miss it? I haven't seen this week's Redlight / Speed camera file yet. Is there a problem?

For those that aren't familiar with the political situation regarding the District of Columbia, it is a federal district and up until about 30 years ago all laws for the District were made by Congress. Home Rule allowed the District to have a city council and gave the mayor many of the same rights and authorities as a state governor.

This coming Fri. 11/7 , theoretically the city of NY will begin to enforce a 5 mph drop in speed limit to 25 mph.
How they are going to enforce it is not defined. IE: Cameras, Cops standing in the middle of the street with radar guns???
Stupid doesn't begin to define this change.
The minute you step on the gas with no car in front of you, you're almost up at 25mph.

Florida court of appeals has ruled that red light camera tickets issued prior to July, 2013, to drivers of rental cars, are invalid. Such drivers had to pay a larger fine for the same violation.
Also, the city where the court said all red light camera tickets are invalid is still issuing tickets and collecting fines, pending appeal.
Chicago cameras have revenue shortfall.
Today, my wife had stopped at a red light in a left turn lane along with a number of other cars that were ahead of her at a red light camera intersection. The light turned green and the cars ahead were all turning left.
