Magellan 4040 - Car mount doesnot fit to the gps - new user

Hi I am very new to this forum.

I don't know if i have to post topc only related to POIs here.

I got my 4040 only on yesterday. Can somebody share tips to use this gps more efficiently?

Also has anybody had the problem with car mount that comes with Magellan 4040? If so, who to contact for it Dell or to Magellan?

By the way I bought it from dell and surprisingly they matched the price with other online retailer, $400.00 with free shipping with no tax.

I was looking into that

I was looking into that model at one point in time. The reviews were very negative though so I was glad I settled with Garmin. Curious to know what you think of your 4040 after a few days of breaking it in.....

Hope it works well for you especially for that price.
