Street Atas USA 2010 Plus Phone Extract 1000 Record Limit
I'm new to POI Factory...I'm looking for Street Atlas users. In SA 2009, we were able to get into the script and change the 1000 record limit. Has anyone heard if this has been done in SA 2010 Plus? I'm very sad that my computer crashed and I no longer have access to SA 2009.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

What Navigation Challenges Need To Be Addresses Now Or In The Near Future?
As post in the subject line, I have been thinking about navigation challenges and the two that come immediately to my mind are:
-Indoor Navigation
-Keeping Data Current
For example, last week I was in a very large multiple story building and I was thinking that the navigation function on my Android phone might be helpful for getting around inside.

icons
Noticed some of the POI pages have icons and sound downloads. How are these associated with the locations in the GPS? meaning if I download the sounds and icons for walmarts, how will my gps know to use those for walmarts only?

The Economy must be taking a bite out of businesses since now the Flying J's are charging RV owners $10.00 to dump their tanks. This service has been free for more than 10 years.

Contributors of the Week 2011-01-03
This week we are recognizing Gadgetguy2008.
A few weeks ago he made a request for a smart phone forum. It took us a little bit to get it posted but when he did he did is little Tasmanian devil routine right away. He made me a list of 84 past discussions so that I could move them to the new forum.
I am not sure how long that took him but it sure saved me a lot of time and work.

Off the wall question...
This looks like a great site for updating POIs in a GPS unit. However, the Magellan 1470 that we have doesn't allow importation of POI files.
I'm especially interested in the Walmart/Sam's Club and WiFi sites besides the low clearance one, but everything seems to either be in .csv or .ov2 format.
