Has anyone tried Geoscouting? According to the above linked website, three or so waypoints are pre-programmed into the scout's GPS unit, and the scout follows the arrow of the GPS unit to experience "the thrill of the find."

I did a quick search but didn't find a thread on this so my apologies if it's been mentioned already.

I'm new here so a few questions:

1. Where does the location data (lat, lon) come from? I ask because I'm an RVer and have made files for Flying J, TA, Petro, and Pilot. It ain't easy, and I appreciate the effort.

It's either that or they are the same ones responsible for the routing engines in our units.

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A class action lawsuit filed in chancery court challenges Knoxville's red light ordinance for a three year period.

I have been thinking about this lately because I have been using my Garmin Nuvifone G60 as both a cell phone and GPS automobile navigator for the past several months now. Prior to that the Garmin StreetPilot 2730 was my day to day GPS workhorse. With the 2730 I would find myself looking at Custom POI files that I had downloaded for gas stations, restaurants, stores, etc.
