Does any one know if poi files can be loaded into a Samsung Galaxy Tab that uses Google maps?

I had my unit for about 5 weeks when i had to send it back because of a software problem. I called garmin, total time on the phone was at the most 15 minutes, got a rma number and sent it back. The longest wait was for the post office to send it. Looks like garmin recieved my GPS and sent me a new one the next day. Total time was 10 days.

Newbie question: What is difference between CSV and GPX files? When would I choose one over the other?

Is there a way i can post a picture (small file) in a thread i've started in Garmin talk, so that i can make myself clear? Not certain how else to describe my exact problem.

Does anyone know where I can find a 76 gas station CSV or GPX file? I can find the icon but no database file.

I have only been a member for 2 weeks and have noticed some obsolete data in a couple of POI files (rest areas and McDonalds). What do I do with this information? Inform who with what?

If I were a General Maintainer could I correct the information myself and how would I do that?

Gibiphone here. South Texas with a newish Garmin Nuvi 1450. I've got a lot to learn, so will be visiting regularly.

Hi Everyone! 1st time here. Having an issue. I have the Garmin Nuvi 605. I've never had a problem with it, until now. It seems as though the touchscreen has just stopped. I can see the screen. Audio works. It just won't respond to my touch. Any ideas?

Since so many new cars have the option of having a GPS unit built-in I wonder if we should have a discussion about the pros and cons of these units?

I would not normaly write this to open forum.I just downloaded The Ethanol Free Gas POI and it has a mistake on line 13 a data format error.I would write to the person who updates the file but there is no contact link for this person.
