Too Much Snow
WHAT A WEEK!
Between late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning we had around 4 inches of snow that hardened into a slippery mess. We had some flurries for most of the rest of Wednesday and then the proverbial you-know-what hit the fan. From around 7:00 PM Wednesday night through Thursday morning we had another 10 inches of snow.

Old, obsolete, and non maintained poi's
There seems to be a fair amount of poi files that are either obsolete or not maintained any more.
I suggest that the pois that are no longer used and updated be removed from the site. An example of these pois would be the individual rest area pois that are now combined in to the "rest areas combined file".

speed cameras
I don't know if anyone has seen this yet but a recent court case in Alberta .Canada for a person crawling through an intersection was ticketed for 143 km /hr ,the camera was deemed incorrect and now all tickets issued will have to be refunded (about 13 million dollars). The camera system is now under study about it's continued use.

Headphones kill people!
Honestly, it's not my idea. When those drivers-killers were distracting those "caring" lawmakers there is other group of people that are danger to society, and especially themselves. So they will be protected at all cost. So far they were flying under radar but finally that will end thanks to our Brave New World politicians.
What is it all about? It goes like this:

anyone rent RVs for vacation?
I've never driven or even been in RVs. I was watching an RV show on Travel Channel, and thought it might be fun to rent an RV for a week long driving vacation.
The RV show said there are class A - big / expensive, Class C - smaller truck-based RVs, and class B - smallest van based RVs.

Garmin Voices
Does anyone have a suggestion or comment about voices for the Garmin? What about the KITT voice or PIG Tones voices? Are they decent and do they speak street names?

A shout-out to the truckers!
I'm relatively new to the site, and I just wanted to thank the truckers who've posted POIs. In addition to transporting the goods we all use everyday, you're also giving us some great tools to use with our GPS.

Why is this message showing when I try to post a reply?
Have my posts been offensive? Or poorly written? What is the criteria to be a "good" post?

Starting around 11:30pm Eastern, the site will be unavailable for a couple of hours during the transfer process; and it may take a while longer for your Internet service provider to receive our new IP address.

Anybody Else having this problem with Downloading POI Files
When I download files from My Favorite Files, it seems that I have no problem downloading the first file. When I try to download the next file I have been getting the following message:
"Unable to download "(poi.csv)" from www.poi.factory.com
Unable to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found"
