Hello, new here and first post. I was searching for an elusive POI file from Ultimate Campgrounds that had in the past sold their POI list from their website apparently. However this was not offered by them after December of 2020. Currently the project for UC has stopped as of April 1, 2022. I am posting this in hopes of finding a way to get this data.

I powered up my old, trusty 2595 last week and it started booting, buzzed and then turned itself off. Nothing I did got it past that point, shutting off after every buzz.

I picked up a Drivesmart 66 as a replacement. Overall I like it.

I have had Garmin automobile GPS devices for a number of years. Last year I bought a Garmin Zumo XT for my Can-Am Outlander 450 ATV.

Yesterday, I bought two Gazelle Ultimate C380+ e-bikes for my wife and I to use. While I have a few Garmins, my Garmin Nuvi 500 and Zumo XT are probably the most weather resistant.

Can anyone help me, I have a old Garmin 660 that still works like new that I use in my truck, But I broke the Cradle mount for it where the ball fits. Anybody know where I might be able to get one ?

Garmin Express showed gmaptz.img v29 update was available for my nüvi 3597.

Hello, all . Hope you can help. I have a Garmin GPS device that is a few years old (don't remember actual age). After entering an address I used to be able to tap the "i" (information symbol) in order to enter the name of the place where I wanted to go and save it. All of a sudden I can't do that any more; perhaps a result of the latest update (?) . Any ideas why this is happening?

Overall, this is an excellent unit, but the price ($299.99 USD New) may make some go for a lower priced unit. Refurbished units run over $100.00 USD less.

After updating. No 3-D map, low detail. No destination choice allowed. (i.e, utterly fucked up).

Regarding the fiasco with the latest Map Update not working until I used MAPINSTALL.. and then not displaying Road Names correctly:
Neds Cove Road becomees: N... C... R.

I see that for the last two Map Updates (I cycle between two SD Cards)

The road names have displayed this way.... N... C... R.

Recently factory reset my DS65 in attempts to get the map update to populate in GE. This got me nowhere, requiring garmin to flip a switch on their end to make it work.

Before resetting, I used GE to backup user data from the unit (in hopes of restoring it after the map update/reset).

Garmin version 7.12.1.0 for Windows is now available. The thread at http://www.poi-factory.com/node/42104?page=6 seems to indicate the Mac version is up to 7.12.3.0 as of April 8, 2022.

If/when I set a route there are the occasional black flag icons along the route. What are they supposed to represent?

My Garmin nuvi 2x5 units and my nuvi 2x0 units that run the software that the 2x5s do (I think the SN's start with 1G....) will randomly add to the turn distance while driving. All that I've had done it are using Software Version 7.80 and have various different CN NA NT maps. For example, say I'm driving down the road, and it says I have 1.4 miles until my next turn.

I have been using the Extra POI Editor for years to create and edit my GPX POI files. Today, it finally seems to have stopped working correctly. I dropped back to an old version of Excel spreadsheet to make the CSV file, but I prefer the extra information I get with the GPX file. What is everyone's favorite editor to use to create GPX files? Thanks in advance

Is anyone aware of a published update schedule for Garmin City Navigator maps? I'll be wanting the latest version of the 010-10691-00 Europe U.K. & Ireland Micro SD or Download.

Just a couple of months ago my ancient Nuvi 660 lost the USB connection, so no more map updates so I disposed of it, as it was just a backup anyway.

A couple of weeks ago my 3597 had a ring on the screen about 1/4 inch in diameter. The ring looked like a water drop hitting a flat surface.

1. Just to start with, there is connecting it to the DS-86. The view and control is just remarkable. The large screen makes everything better.
