What are Blue Green tracks on DriveSmart 61?

Are you using a different theme than the default Garmin theme? That looks to me like the yellow major road indicators in the default theme.

I checked when I got back to the car and it was set to the GARMIN map theme. I tried a couple other themes and the teal line disappears and changes to a different color and becomes sort of neutral where you don't really notice it. With another theme the line is bright red. I'm very curious what it is trying to communicate, if anything. Thanks.

The teal or yellow are the main roads.

yeah, I can see that it's probably nothing more than that as I toggle thru the various themes. It just seemed during my travels last week that many tiny side streets were being painted in teal when they were definitely NOT main roads. I'm going to see if I can re-create that.

thanks for those references - - I'll read thru them.

I looked at each of my other devices tonight and all were set to the Garmin theme. However, none of them use the teal color in their designs. It's strange. The Garmin setting on these earlier devices provide what I'd describe as a traditional map view with the yellow/orange color showing more major streets. Maybe the teal color is something unique to DriveSmart and newer devices?

There are programs that let you customize your theme. From those you can see what different roads are classified as.. And, apply different colors, line/road width.
