This coming fall I will be doing a 6,000 mile plus trip and have been busy downloading any POI's I think may come in handy. A total of 55 different ones. All were installed with the current POI loader directly to a 2GB SD card.

So for my work we are constantly running addresses all day and the website we use has a "handy" feature that allows you to export all the addresses to a CSV file. What is useless about this file is that for one: the formatting of the data is wrong. if you open the CSV file with a CSV editor the first column doesn't contain coordinates, but instead it contains some other data.

My 855 has been "dropping" the speed limit display randomly for the past two or three days on routes I travel on a regular basis.

Any ideas on cause?

This post is exactly what Garmin sent me and since I am having trouble they decided to blame MQ for my issues. This process doesn't seem to work with the 2460 and there is plenty of supporting evidence of that on other GPS blogs. I wish it would work ....

8gb Micro SD Card

$5 for an 8gb Class 4 Micro SD Card. I have purchased from this company several times .... no issues at all.

I have no idea what happened, but my 855 will not charge using the 12volt cords anymore.

I have two cords, one has the traffic receiver in it with two lights showing that it is receiving 12 volt power and the other showing traffic receiver activity.
BOTH lights are on, the traffic light is flickering.

My second cord is just a plain 12 volt power supply.

I have a Garman 3590 LMT. When I delete a favorite, or favorites they wont stay deleted. Whenever I reboot, the files are all back again. I deleted them in edit mode, where I put a check mark beside the ones I wanted gone, but they came back. So, I tried deleting them one at a time by selecting one individually. Like I said, they are gone until I do a reboot.

Garmin began rolling out Garmin Express v3.2.5.0 for the PC today. If you would like to upgrade to the latest version, Check for Application Updates on the Settings page within the Express application.

Just downloaded Walmart, Rest areas,and Truck/fuel stations. When I try to navigate to any of these map shows them all located in the Atlantic south of Liberia. Anybody know whats up with this?

I just uploaded the latest and greatest Gander Mtn. POI file. I added a store in Mount Juliet, TN, and now I need to refine the long/lat of the entrance(s) to the parking area. I usually use Google Earth to fine tune the coordinates, but GE has the Gander Mtn. store in the middle of an empty field. I just took a wild guess where the parking lot drive(s) would be. Thanks.

so I have the nüvi® 3597LMTHD and I've noticed a couple of times that while following a route, I will zoom in to about 100% and it does zoom in BUT while the map moves as I drive, the avatar of my vehicle doesn't move with the map.

I used Basecamp to create a route from tracks and then downloaded the route to my 850. The problem is that the route's display on the GPS is littered with via point flags that were used by Basecamp to create the route.

My question: Is there any way to hide those via point flags from being displayed on the GPS? Maybe some way to massage them in Basecamp before doing the download?

I have a NUVI 2555 loaded with maps for North America and Benelux/France. Now I want to replace the Benelux/France maps with a new set for all of Europe but I am told that space available is insufficient. Is there a way to delete the ones I no longer need in order to make space for new map sets? Seems like it should be a "gimme" but it seems not to be the case, at least for me.

I have a Nuvi 1450, and was using a poi combo of Red light-McDonalds-Dunkin. Everything worked great!

About a week ago, I deleted the earlier poi file, then downloaded new McD-Dunkin-Red Light-and Speed Cams.

Well you know how it is, Boys and their toys.

Has anyone bought the 2798 LMT yet? Would love to hear comments from actual users.

I need another GPS like a hole in the head, but that model sounds intriguing.

After doing some checking on my system. The Samantha voice is suppose to be version 2.0. This was updated long ago. I went to setting, device and then about and it still shows 1.20. I thought that maybe I didn't update it but the system was showing that I did. I pulled up Dashboard and it was showing Samantha voice 2.0 needed to be installed.
