Base Camp

I was using the new Base Camp and found the user interface difficult, but persistence has it's own rewards as this product has some very neat features for creating a Route and finding relevant POI's once you find out how to use the goodies. However, after a few tries, my Base Camp is now telling me that my .Net is corrupted and must be re-installed. So I dutifully removed the .Net, rebooted computer and reloaded .Net. Same Problem, so I deleted Base Camp, rebooted and re-installed Base Camp, same result.
Has anyone else had a similar experience, and were you able to repair the problem?

Called Garmin tech. Several people tried to fix it. Nothing they tried would work. They had total control of my computer and nothing worked. What is your Operating System and what version of Basecamp are you using?
You should not have to install the latest .Net because the BaseCamp Installer should do that for you.

◦System Requirements:
Windows Vista Service Pack 2 or later is required. Machines with earlier operating systems can use BaseCamp 4.2.5.
◦.NET framework 4.5 SP1 is required. A current version of .NET will be installed if needed.

Sure there have been problems but I have installed BaseCamp 4.3.4 on a Windows 7 and two Windows 8.1 computers with no problems.
Have you tried
The Basecamp uninstall, delete Program Files directory, THEN reinstall?

That is the wrong folder to delete!! Doing that will mess up the computer. The BaseCamp folder is the one that should be deleted.
On a Windows 7 or 8 64 bit computer the path to the folder would be C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\BaseCamp unless another location had been chosen during installation.
